The design, the peacefulness the attention to detail were outstanding. The staff so helpful and accommodating and the gifts in the fridge highly appreciated. It’s not very central but that was an added bonus as it felt so quiet coming back to our little house away from the noise. Loved it and would 100% stay again.

The bed is very comfortable
Would be great if there were bicycles on a side so guest could take them and explore Kyoto this way. No pijamas or kimonos available while it is a standard in Japan. Moreover, the house if very „fragile” and noises from the street are hearable. Also, there

We had such a wonderful stay at Maana Kyoto! The home is simply beautiful — the interior is so nice, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely blend of Japanese style and modern comfort that made us feel instantly relaxed. It was also really easy to access and find, which made arrival and check-in seamless. The location is great, quiet, peaceful, and still close enough to get around and explore Kyoto without feeling like we were far from everything.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like with the property.
