Breakfast was nice in a lovely room. Beautiful building. Dinner was excellent.
The whole place looked a bit "tired" and could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Rooms and decor were excellent. Room was huge and comforatble
Bedside Lamps in Room played up a little. One of the attractions is sitting by the fire in the main room having a quiet drink. Unfortunately, it was out of season to light the fire despite it being quite cool over the two days we stayed there. Next time plan to go during winter.

A great experience

My husband and I have been coming here for a very long time and this is most certainly the worst condition I have ever seen it. The whole place needs a very good clean and some thought given to guests and where do they go. The food was sensational and Penny is fantastic however we got the feeling this place has been forgotten.
Better staff training, more lighting, cleanliness. Less junk and rubbish lying around the property. Dogs constantly barking was certainly an issue.
