breakfast was really scrumptious - nice avocado on toast with a chilli sauce - particularly liked the 'smiley breakfast'
room was spacious (though not for tall people)

No complaints at all. Hospitality provided was wonderful. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing.
Two things would have further improved our stay.
It was difficult to get towels dry so, if a heated towel rail couldn’t be provided, then perhaps the towels could be changed every couple of days.
In the evening, away from the bedside lamps, the lighting was quite low. Perhaps a further lamp could be provided near the chair to allow for reading etc.

The owners have thought of everything! Great fresh cooked breakfasts, comfortable rooms, every little touch thoughtful and lovely. Nice ensuite bathrooms. Even a tiny little fridge for cold bottles of water and fresh milk for tea/coffee! Lovely and our hosts were so kind.
We wish more places could have air conditioning during this ongoing heatwave but totally understand why it's not possible. The owners did provide an excellent tower fan!
