A delightful cottage equipped with everything you need and more. Beautifully decorated - loved the 'bird' theme!! Sundowner drinks outside to watch the sunset. A warm living area with fire - plenty of wood provided. We were 2 couples so was nice to have 2 bathrooms. Easy walk into town and definitely recommend Zest bakery for coffee and pastries. Will stay here again when we visit Stanthorpe. Thank you for the wine and cheese - much appreciated.

It's the thoughtful touches that made Finney Cottage a home-away-from-home stay. The foliage in vases, coffee pods (nice n strong as requested!), biscuits, fresh milk & eggs, cheese, firewood & the log fires, books to read if one has time, game boards to play ...
The outdoor seating at the back, with beautiful lightbulbs surrounding us, is a wonderful place to watch the setting sun.
The kitchen is a delight! The styling in the cottage - beautiful! - reminded us all of our grandparents era.
We didn't have an opportunity to sit on the front porch with its charming twinkle lights. It looked beautiful at night time, though!
Minor issues only - such as the app that seemed to fail when Lee tried to send the access code to us. We waited for about 40minutes. Once I contacted her directly, though, she provided the code. The back light to enter the home is broken but Lee did warn us and a torch is provided, so all is ok. Lee has logged a job to get the light repaired.
The couple using the standalone bathroom struggled with the hot water system on night 1 but by night 2 it was good.
Access to the sunroom is through the bedroom that has the ensuite. Not ideal if you have 3 couples staying, but in our case it was only 2 couples and we didn't use the sunroom during our stay except for the partner of one couple who needed his own bed during our stay.
So all worked out well!!!

Very close to the centre of town & supermarkets are within walking distance. Really appreciated the coffee pods, teas, cheese platter, bottle of wine & milk for us to use & enjoy. Very clean & comfortable. Definitely enough room for 3 single people.
