The location is perfect and despite being on the square of Reina Sofia’s hotel, inside is very quite.
The remote check in is very smooth. The staff on site was super kind.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of Atocha station. It was clean, the aircon was very effective. I heard no noise from other guests. We booked this room as a cheap stopover knowing we were going to arrive late and leave early for a train next day. Good shared kitchen and bathroom facilities
The room was tiny with no wardrobe space. We barely unpacked for reasons stated above. Because we arrived after 5.00pm we had to download an app to gain entry both to the main door and to our room. It worked very well but we were a bit apprehensive. Restaurants are a short walk away and very reasonably priced. Airport to hotel by taxi is a fixed price of 33 Euros. It's not worth using the train as you will not save that much.

So central to everything and we found it very clean!
Having to share one bathroom between multiple guests was annoying and it did sometimes cause us to wait because the two bathrooms were occupied.
