Nice location, very near to the train station and 20 mins to Amsterdam Centraal

I really liked the location. It is right in the center of Almere, close to pubs, restaurants, and other shops. It is also conveniently located near the train station, which made getting around very easy.
Even though the bed was very comfortable, I could not sleep well because of the noise. You could hear even a simple conversation from the room next door, let alone other noises. Doors were being slammed shut, there were loud conversations in the hallways, etc. I also found a hair on one of the towels I was given. This is something I should have brought to the attention of the reception, but I didn’t think much of it at the time and simply used the other towels. The location is convenient, but this also means there is quite a lot of noise and music coming from outside. On weekends, the music continued until 3-4 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep. At the end of the day, this is a three-star hotel, so I understand that it may not offer the same level of service or facilities as a higher-rated hotel. However, I believe cleanliness and a reasonable level of soundproofing are basic expectations, regardless of the hotel’s rating.
