This stay adds to the wonderful experiences we’ve had at B&B-style accommodations. Our host greeted us warmly and made us feel at home right away. Her knowledge of the local history was exceptional, and the accommodations themselves were excellent.
Each evening we had the pleasure of joining her for wine in the amazing courtyard — a highlight of our visit. Our room was perfect: spacious, very clean, and set within a 500+ year‑old home that was truly special to experience.
Our stay was a 10 out of 10, and it’s one we’ll be sharing with friends and family for years to come. If you’re looking to experience real history and stay in a genuinely historic home, this is the one.

We booked Manuela’s place last minute and it will go down as the best part of our trip. From the moment we booked, Manuela communicated exceptionally. When we walked through the doors we were blown away by the property and felt lucky to spend one night in a such a beautifully and thoughtfully decorated piece of history. Manuela gave us a tour and explained more of the history of the building which we found absolutely fascinating. Although the apartment themselves are amazing, it is Manuela that really makes the experience memorable. We will cherish her hospitality and chatting to her in the backyard with wine and cheese! We hope to be back soon.
