Room was cleaned everyday. Easy to see stars and the Milky Way in the garden at night.

Location and staff

Room was cold when arrived and ac wasn’t working properly so was uncomfortable first night. On final morning there was no hot water for a shower! While the staff we met were helpful and lovely they were too few and were run off their feet managing everything alone!

The breakfast was very nice, and the lovely girl serving us was very nice and accommodating - she was rushed off her feet though and seemed to be having to do everything

Unfortunately we were very disappointed, the accommodation is overpriced for what it is and not at all in keeping with the luxury accommodation portrayed. It looks from the photos that there are varying rooms and layouts, but the price is the same for all. Our room was small and dated with obvious signs of wear and tear, and all foot traffic going straight past our door and window from the carpark to reception (no chance to open the curtains for the view of the lake). There is no insulation and every sound could be heard from the adjoining room and outdoors. At over $600 for one night it was a complete rip off, and being a special birthday weekend away this was a real let down.
