Hands-down my favorite place where I stayed during two weeks of traveling around the North Island! I felt welcome from the moment I arrived, the lovely hosts providing me with a ton of information and good tips for things to see (like the night market that same evening). The location is a brief drive away from the city center, and has a beautiful view over the lake. My room was spacious, clean and cozy, couldn't ask for more. Breakfast was amazing - I tried two out of the three options, and both were great!
If I had to come up with something negative, I did struggle a bit with parking, but mostly because my rental car was huge and I'm not a very good driver 😅

Very nice place to stay if visiting Rotorua. The property sits right along the shores of the lake and is very peaceful but only 5 minutes from the center of town. Great hosts and the freshly cooked breakfast (with 3 choices - Asian, English or continental) is exceptional and very hearty

We were greeted with a cup of coffee and maps and brochures of things to do and see. Our hosts took time to tell us about the area and things to do. The bed was very comfortable and the room was freshened up each day with clean towels. Excellent service.
A choice of three breakfast types was offered and all were very good. You don’t leave feeling hungry that’s for sure.
The lighting was a little dim , for us anyway, but other than that it was great.
