Right at the top of Bowness, literally 5mins from everything the town has to offer so very convenient. Breakfast is a good value (though you're expected to pay cash on the day if you add-on). Bed was comfortable enough and WiFi was good enough to stream TV. Free parking spaces if you're lucky enough to catch a vacant one, and bus stops to Windermere and all other major towns just outside.
Overall a decent enough place to crash after a day out on the lakes.
Room wasn't quite big enough to fit the bed in, and obstructed all the doors which getting round the room was a bit of a hassle. We had a broken extractor fan in the small ensuite (which would definitely not suite "larger" guests), and window had safety locks on them preventing them from being opened fully - so a couple of showers and the whole room turned into a bog.
Parking is incredibly limited - Their guest house has up to 8 rooms but only 3 private parking spaces and the sidestreet it's on is rammed. so invariably be prepared to pay for the Bowness pay & display (another c.£10 a day)
