建物は古いものだけれど、完璧にリノベーションされていてとても綺麗になっている。しかも部屋にエアコンもついており、非常に快適に滞在できた。夕食もホテルのレストランでとったのだが、Saale-Unstrutのワインを色々と飲みたいというと、通常1杯0.2lのところを半分にして提供してくれた。日本円が安すぎるので円換算だと宿泊代が高くなってしまうが、ユーロ建ての金額だと安すぎると感じるほど良いホテルだった。
ホテルが良くないのではなく、地域としてタクシーが来ないので、駅からさほど遠くないけれどスーツケースを引きずっていくのが難しい。バックパックを背負っていくか、自分でレンタカーを運転していく方がいい。

TOP-Lage in Freyburg, tolles Frühstück, aufmerksames Personal und Inhaber, gemütlicher Bier-/Weingarten im Hinterhof, ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze, automatisierte Dachfenster mit Außen-Rollläden (genial u.a. gegen Hitze)

Sehr gute Lage direkt am Markt. Parkplätze am Hotel. Fahrstuhl und sehr schöne Terrasse im Hinterhof mit Weinpflanzen geschmückt. Das Restaurant hat eine ausgezeichnete Küche und zum Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl mit frischen Gemüse und Obst.
Es gab nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Die Zimmer waren groß, gut ausgestattet und sauber.
Ausgerechnet Inhaberin und Inhaber (?), die sich u. a. um den Empfang/die Rezeption und die Getränkeversorgung beim Frühstück kümmerten, waren nicht sehr zuvorkommend, sondern eher mürrisch. Man hatte nicht den Eindruck, dass sie sich sehr bemühten.
Das Personal im Restaurant dagegen war sehr nett.
