We had a wedding at the Bristol harbor inn and this spot was a perfect location for 4 couples to stay and enjoy the wedding weekend! Thank you!

Great location in the heart of Bristol. We were there for a wedding and all activities were within walking distance. There was no hairdryer which made getting ready tricky, to say the least.

Great stay…Property manager was vey accommodating. Super clean location. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The apartment was spotless, the beds were more comfortable than at home, and the location was perfect. We came for a wedding just around the block, and the apartment's deck was the perfect place for family members to gather between the ceremony and the reception. My whole family loved it, and we would 100% rent again. Berta was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay.

Our group of 6 adults came to Bristol for a wedding and had a great time at this unit - there were more bathrooms than listed (2.5 instead of 1.5), and the back deck with a partial water view was perfect. The bedrooms were also well insulated to noise from the cafe downstairs. Highly recommend!

Our group really enjoyed the property. Great location, plenty of room and close to everything. We highly recommend!

This property is ideally located near shops, restaurants and the waterfront. Loved the deck and plenty of space to spread out with friends. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was perfect for our stay during a wedding weekend at Linden Place. It was easy to communicate to Berta and we had a heating issue that was quickly resolved! We would absolutely stay again.

Everything about Berta's apartment was perfect, from the location across the street from the wedding venue, to the accommodations, parking and view of the harbor. Berta was very responsive to email and texts. Thank you for your part in making our daughter's wedding day even more spectacular.

We had an amazing weekend with friends and family! The apartment is spacious and clean with more than enough room for our group of 6 adults. The back deck is a huge bonus! The location is perfect - we rented bikes, rode along the bike path, walked to some adorable shops, restaurants and bars. Berta was wonderful to work with and our group definitely plans to stay again soon.

We rented this condo which is right across the street from Linden Place, where our daughter was married. The spacious interior and exterior allowed our extended family to enjoy a rehearsal dinner. The back deck is amazingly large and has a wonderful view of the water. The living area and bedrooms are quite spacious. It's a hidden gem!

4 couples rented this unit for a wedding we were attending in Bristol. We arrived and stayed for 5 wonderful nights. The apartment is on the second floor and overlooks main street. The unit has its own entrance and was nice and clean for our arrival. Our friendly host Berta was very responsive to email and phone calls before and during our stay. All the beds were very comfortable, and each room had its own air conditioning unit. The large kitchen was well stocked with just about everything needed to cook meals for the 8 of us. The huge deck had a nice partial view of the harbor on which we ate many meals as well as watched the sunsets every night. Everything you could want is within a 5–10-minute walk, so many great restaurants, pubs, raw bars, live entertainment, museums, bike rentals, gift shops, revolutionary war history, oceanfront parks and lots of free overnight street parking. Once you are there you don't really need a car. The only thing I would suggest is that if you have small children you should bring a gate to put at the top of the stairwell because there is no door at the top of the stairwell, only at the bottom. Bristol is a hidden gem of a village and so is this rental unit.

I am starting off this review by stating that this place is a true gem. A lovely apartment in a great location. There is nothing I would change about my time spent in the apartment. It was clean and functional. We came for a wedding that was located near by. 10/10 recommend the place itself.
The reasoning for overall 3/5 star review is the poor communication I had with the host while checking in. Earlier in the morning on the day I was scheduled to check-in, I messaged the host asking for the check-in instructions. She responded by stating that it was keyless entry & I was to call her 20 minutes before arriving so she could tell me the weekly code. As instructed, I called 20 minutes before my first guest was arriving. The host answered, however, hurriedly said to call her back in 20 minutes when the guest arrived because she was driving and she did not give me the code. My guest then arrives so I call the host. The call goes to voicemail. After calling myself a few times, my husband and two of the guests continuously tried to contact the host while I was on the phone with VRBO customer service because I was concerned we were being scammed. We reached the point of VRBO customer service representative also being unable to reach the host & VRBO offered to put us in a hotel for the night free of charge. The hotel was about to be finalized when the host finally contacted me back, so that was the reason we did not end up staying at the hotel/being given any sort of refund. This entire ordeal lasted for almost an hour. The host called me back and explained that her phone died & her charger wouldn’t work. The host was very apologetic. I understand things happen and I truly respect that the door code switches weekly for security reasons, however, the host needs to implement a better check-in system so situations like this can be avoided. I truly hope future guests do not have this issue. It was a very stressful ordeal to handle while driving 5.5 hours to the destination.

We were in town for a wedding. The wedding was held at a venue across the street. It was easy and fun. Truly the most perfect location.

We were only in for 2 days and it worked it out perfectly. There were plenty of dining options within short walking distance. Sunset Cafe right downstairs was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Our only negative was that the day before we were to arrive we were asked to checkout by 9 rather than 11 as stated in property particulars. We were able to agree on a 10 o'clock checkout.

Grateful for such perfect accommodations for our multi-generational, blended family of seven on a family wedding weekend! Berta was a terrificly attentive host, being easy to contact, responsive and flexible according to our needs. The apartment has a spacious floor plan and generously sized rooms, is exceptionally clean, and all rooms are nicely appointed. Air-conditioning in all bedrooms as well as a built-in conditioning unit in the common area. Appreciated having plenty of bathrooms and two showers (especially when dressing and primping on the day of the wedding). We all enjoyed spending time out on the deck. When eating at the apartment, we fully utilized the kitchen, as well as ordered take-out selections from the café downstairs. We found Bristol to be a good home base. In addition to being only 1.5 miles to the wedding & reception venue at the Blithewold Estate, Bristol had everything we needed (restaurants, shops, groceries, walkways and parks by the water, nearby activities, and attractions), as well as provided an easy route south to Newport. Time went too fast, and we wished we had stayed longer!

The owner was very responsive and the property has a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces.

We stayed for a week and loved being able to walk to restaurants and playgrounds as well as having so much to do in the area. Property was comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the location.

This rental was perfect for our annual reunion (6 women) replete with open layout for socializing, 4 large bedrooms, 2 - 1/2 baths (even though the listing claims 1 full bath and 2 - 1/2 baths, which ended up being a pleasant surprise), and a beautiful deck with water views. Our location was walking distance to fabulous restaurants and quaint shops and a short ride to Colt state park.
The only downside (and why I didn't give this review 5 stars) was there wasn't a cooling unit (AC) in the living room / kitchen only in the bedrooms so we opened all bedroom doors to cool down the common area.
Berta, the owner was exceptional to work with; very responsive and accomodating.

Berta was a wonderful host - her place was great. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and towels for our group of 9. The deck is fantastic! Can’t beat the location. We had two families with kids ages 9-16 - lots of space to spread out. We look forward to returning!

This property was perfectly located for my family and friends. We had a wedding at Linden Place on Saturday and everyone enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and activities in town. Property was large, clean and pleasant. The deck was a great extension of living space. I definitely would recommend this property.

Property was clean and in the perfect spot for us to be for my wedding across the street with plenty of parking.

We had a fantastic weekend at a family wedding and hit the beautiful bike trails in Bristol, Colt State Park, and up through Warren, RI. This is a second floor downtown property with a deck on the back roof. Parking is out back down the spiral stairs. The best breakfast stop in town is your neighbor downstairs. We enjoyed being in the middle of everything.

My family loved the stay with Berta - she was flexible and great with communication with them, and just as fantastic and accommodating in the lead-up, when we dropped off some welcome bags and necessities ahead of their arrival - she went well out of her way to help make that experience memorable! You really can't get closer to the center of Bristol, and the whole gang wished they had even more time to explore from there!

This spot is in the absolute perfect spot for Bristol! We were in town for a wedding at the Bristol Harbor Inn. From the back exit we were right across the parking lot. We were able to park our cars for the weekend and then just walk everywhere. This is a very large apartment and it can easily accommodate the amount of people it advertised. This very comfortably slept 9 adults. Communal spaces were very large and we were all able to hangout.
Only complaints are - lack of curtains and no digital entry (had to share keys). However, I would totally stay there again and have already recommended the place!

Great location can’t say it enough times!
Rental was removed from vrbo and we couldn’t see pictures prior to arrival but Berta was helpful in fixing the situation but then it spun back to no longer showing?
All in all the place was pricey in respect to its upkeep. Maintenance issues were resolved ( running toilets! ) found multiple dirty dishes. First impression was 3-4 star for us clean folk! Still a great choice

After having to cancel in 2020 because of the COVID pandemic travel restrictions, I was happy to stay at the Sunset Hideaway in 2021!! We had looked forward to this trip for years and it didn’t disappoint!! The location was perfect! The facility was spacious and met all of our needs. The Property Manager was attentive and accommodating.
