About this house rental
North side of beach front duplex. Steps to the beach to swim, kayak, beach comb or watch the eagles, herons, porpoises and cruise ships in the summer or ski Mt. Washington which is 25 minutes away , go fishing or storm watch in the winter. Fir wood floors, gas fireplace with flat screen tv above it, tv in master bedroom, wifi , gas barbecue, basketball hoop and kayaks. Living room looks at the ocean with three couches to sit on. Master bedroom has king bed and ensuite bathroom, second bedroom has double bed and downstairs bedroom has one single bed and a bunk bed with lower bed being a double size. Four minute drive to Willow Point and thirteen minute drive to Quadra Island and Campbell river. Long sandy beach just a three minute walk down the beach. Fire pit and sitting area with deck chairs and barbecue. Paradise!

This place has a great view and is easy to get to. A quiet area as far as retail so you will have to drive for shopping, groceries and restaurants. The Host is super helpful and easy to communicate with. The basement could use a little refresh.

The view and location are 10/10. The kitchen is well equipped. Grocery stores are about 15 mins away.The place itself needs some sprucing up, a deep clean and some maintenance. Mattresses/beds not great and you may want to bring your own pillows as the ones provided are kid size and very flat. (We went and bought our own.) They do have strongly scented air fresheners throughout and a bathroom vent fan that won’t turn off. There is no air conditioning and the house gets extremely hot inside. It was hard to sleep as the rooms don’t cool down at night. The house backs onto a main road which is convenient but loud with traffic. Some screens on windows were gaping and the sliding patio door is very heavy and difficult to lock. We did appreciate the provision of portable fans to move around the house and there is amble towels and facecloths and dishware and cutlery. There was even a frother for your lattes.The owners were next door most of our stay and are very pleasant.
