Situated in Westbrook, this charming house for $549 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Our single story, private residence is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood so we do not allow parties or outside guests. Our check-in time is after 4pm and checkout is before 11am. We can often accommodate other arrangements when contacted in advance! Andy's Retreat is a comfortable, spacious convenient home base to relax and explore Portland & Coastal Maine. We're located right off Exit 53 of the Maine Turnpike, just 15 minutes ($15 Uber) from the Old Port (downtown Portland), 20 minutes to LL Bean/Freeport Outlets / Scarborough Beach, 30 minutes to Sebago Lake, 1 hr to Shawnee Peak & 1.5 hours to Sunday River. We're just 1.5 miles from a large Hannaford supermarket, Dunkin' Donuts and The Moose - a great sports bar with with excellent food! Allagash, Foundation and Definitive brewing are just 5 minutes away. The house offer lots of privacy and features a 20 x 40 heated, outdoor swimming pool (open and heated seasonally to 75 degrees June - Labor Day), HotSprings hot tub (adults only), central AC (set to 76/74 degrees), Weber barbecue, outdoor fire pit (propane), basketball hoop, high speed 300mb internet , (2) flat screen tvs with Youtube TV and Amazon Prime. We have plenty of free off street parking. We provide everything you need (except food!) from clean linens, towels, propane, shampoo, soap, washer/dryer and cleaning supplies! With a large kitchen, central kitchen island and adjacent sun room, there's plenty of room for the whole family to enjoy cooking and spending time together. Our guests appreciate that the back wing of the house contains 3 of the 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. This arrangement allows for cooking / socializing in the front wing and privacy/quiet in the back wing. The front wing of the house has another bedroom and 1/2 bath. Guests also enjoy our covered patio, outdoor fire pit, sun-room, in-home stereo system, 1st floor laundry and quiet neighborhood - great for a walk or run anytime!

Andy's Place was the ideal home for our family which included my husband and myself as well as our daughters who are 18 and 22 and my parents in their 70's. Plenty of space so we never felt crowded and could stay up late/get up early without disturbing anyone. Also the pool and hot tub as well as other amenities were a great bonus especially. Really enjoyed thehot tub in the evenings after a long day exploring light houses or spending time at local beaches.

Lots of amenities, great location, house was very clean and provided the essentials. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool or hot tub much due to inclement weather. Since we were inside so much we wanted to relax in the sun room, but we found out that the shades in there actually don't retract, so that was a bummer. We brought this up with Andy and he was very responsive to our questions/concerns. Regardless, we would stay here again!

Glorious house, pool, and hot tub. Loved the solarium and appreciated the central AC as it was a very warm week for Maine. There were 2 children and 2 adults staying in the house, but we have family nearby and the kitchen and adjoining rooms accommodate a large group easily. Amenities like towels, paper towels, bathsoap were provided. We really look forward to returning in 2023. Also host kept in close touch via text and even sent weather alerts.

What a gem! This is our second time staying at Andy’s. We are two families with three kids aged 10, 11, and 13. The space is perfect in terms of having privacy and room but also all being able to hang out together indoors and out. The pool and hot top are splendid. The home is well equipped with all the basics you need including towels for the pool. Andy is very responsive and helpful. We love staying here. Great location - quick drive to Portland, Freeport, and beaches.

Wow!!! What a wonderful place. There was so many things provided like soap, paper products, extra towels and bedding, face wipes, shampoo and conditioner, vacuum, games, coffee, tea, cleaning products. The house was clean and well equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful but not over bearing. The amenities were great and good and safe location. Recommended for family or friend get together.

It was nice. We missed the small print about the pool being closed though. Quite a disappointment on that note. We made a quick decision to rent because it had a pool for the kids. Should have done our due diligence. But other than that it was a nice place.

The pictures do not do this property justice. The skylights in the living room provide the most beautiful light. The cozy couches were perfect for cuddling up with one of the books provided in the smaller bedroom. All of the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with coffee maker and freshly ground Starbucks coffee which we love! All the cookware you could need and more. My kids enjoyed lounging in the sunroom and eating meals around the huge kitchen island. The private yard and pool were perfect. I even enjoyed a few quiet moments in the hot tub. So relaxing! We would definitely come back again. Thanks Andy for being such a great host.

Pool, fire pit, multiple rooms bathrooms, multiple living areas to spread out (including sun room), quiet neighborhood, close drive to all the areas worth exploring, and responsive owner. I fell in love with area so much so I'm already planning a trip back to the Portland/Falmouth area for next year.

My family and I had a great time at Andy’s retreat. The house was very clean, well furnished, and included everything you need. The pool and hot tub were the highlight of the trip! The owner was very easy to communicate with and provided lots of helpful information about the house and nearby beaches, restaurants, etc. The check in and check out process was easy and fast. Overall, it was a great family vacation.

Andy's retreat was perfect for us and our adult children. The house had plenty of room. The pool, hot tub, fire pit and grill were perfectly maintained. Music throughout the house was a nice bonus. The lot was very private. The location was ideal, just 10-15 minutes to Portland. Andy is an excellent owner and super nice guy. We noticed a problem with the hot tub and he came out immediately to investigate, and then fixed it the next day. We definitely would go back and recommend Andy's retreat!

The property was fantastic - clean, lots of spaces to be together or separate. Andy was super easy to work with, too. We had 4 generations (ages 5-87) for 7 days and it could not have been better. We didn't leave the property for the whole week - we were occupied in the pool or playing games the whole time. Definitely considering a return trip soon!

We had a great stay in Maine, at Andy’s retreat. The pluses: clean and comfortable property, fabulous yard with sparkling pool and hot tub, within 20 -25minutes to downtown Portland and several beaches, easy check-in process, and access to Andy via text whenever we had questions. cons: we struggled with complicated electronics (music system, TV, DVR), and temperature is not controlled by guest (though Andy does it electronically). Also, while expresso maker was a bonus, house could use a blender and toaster oven.All in all. A wonderful stay with a great host. We enjoyed our stay!

This location is very close to Portland, and also allows for day trips to great destinations in all directions. The home itself is very comfortable with amenities great for entertaining and relaxing. From the shaded hot tub to the awning over the deck, to the pool with heat cover, to the whole house audio system --- All in all it is a great choice for a home base for the week!

Staying at Andy's retreat was a terrific experience. The house is very comfortable and up to date. The AC made it very comfortable temperature wise. We loved the Hot Tub and large heated pool. They were used several times of day and the outdoor speakers enhanced the experience. Andy made himself very available if we had any questions. We followed some of Restaurant recommendations and had great meals. A Great Experience! Thank You Andy!

We had a great time staying at this house. The house is beautiful and there was plenty of room for our family of six. The pool and hot tub are awesome. Andy's was very helpful and communication was great. The house is close to quite a few really scenic areas in Maine and to Portland. Would definitely come back!

Really great house rental! Plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. Amazing pool and hot tub and secure fenced-in yard. Great location---easy access to downtown Portland, Freeport, and other areas. Very quiet and private property as well. Never saw any neighbors! Great communication with owner. Thanks Andy for a great vacation! Would definitely rent this house again.

Camp Andy is a wonderful place to get away from everyday life. The backyard, with the pool, hot tub and grill, was a great place to gather with family and friends. The large sun room and living rooms were perfect for our young daughter to crawl around and play in. And with only a 10 min drive to downtown Portland it was easy to partake of the amazing restaurant scene.
