About this hotel
The Legendary San Jose House on Fremont Street is in Tombstone's Historic District. The San Jose House, was built 1879 as Tombstone's 1st boarding house and is one of Tombstone's oldest structures. We are a short distance to main street, the Tombstone Epitaph and The Crystal Palace Saloon. The San Jose House is historically documented, appeared in movies, and also TRUE WEST Magazine. Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Batt Masterson, and many others stayed here including Josephine Marcus. Enjoy Mountain Views and the Sunrise with your morning coffee from our covered porch. Wonderful place to stay in Tombstone. The room was nice and very convenient to everything. We very much enjoyed the history behind the San Jose rooms and will be booking again next year. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice close place to stay and be able to walk to the attractions. Parking right outside room was a plus. Bed was comfortable Unit had a kitchen area with dishes, microwave and small refrigerator but no paper towels, dish towels or Kleenex.

Tried to reach host to find out what check out process wad and they didnt respond. Sent them messages. No response. When we checked in, there were 3 youmg men drinking beer outside the rooms. They weren't guests. Someone tried to open the door on our room in the middle of the night. Room was clean, but floors couldve used a good cleaning.
