An updated, sparkling clean, light and bright, beach cottage nestled in the Ibis Roost community. "Sunburst Cove" is the perfect home-away-from-home island getaway. This beautifully decorated three-bedroom, three full bath home is nestled in the desirable family location of Ibis Roost, just steps away from the community only (30 homes) pool. As you walk into the home, you will be greeted by the open great room surrounded by windows with the sunlight streaming in. The fully stocked kitchen for the chef in your family to cook up memorable meals served on the breakfast bar. The dining area seats 8 and is perfect for family meals and entertaining while enjoying the open living concept allowing everyone to be a part of the fun. A bright, cheerful Carolina sunroom is located off of the main living area and overlooks the maritime forest with a sofa for extra sleeping space, and privacy for any home office needs. This just may become your secret retreat for early morning coffee. All this leads to the private front porch to take in the serenity of this peaceful ideal island location. Also on the main level are two spacious bedrooms and two full baths. One bedroom features a queen bed and the other has two queen beds. Head up to the second floor to discover a wonderful master suite with king bed, sitting area and full bath. This room is totally private from the first floor allowing extra privacy and quiet sleeping time. There are two four-seat golf carts for your use exploring this beautiful island. Linens and bath towels are included in your rental. Beach towels are also provided. You will find a full sized gas grill, two paddle boards, a surf board, pack n play, both a regular and Keurig coffee pot, and beach chairs. Cable TV and Internet Service with a strong WiFi signal. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room and all bedrooms. Tucked away in cabinets you will find an assortment of books, puzzles and board games. Steps away from your front porch you will have access to the Ibis Roost community pool, which can only be used by Ibis Roost families and their guests (30 homes). This is a wonderful place to come back to after a day at the beach to take a quick swim before cocktails and dinner or a quiet morning swim away from the crowds. Please note that the pool is seasonal and is generally open from May 1st to September 30th. This home is conveniently located to the beach, BHI club, and within walking distance to the market, island shops, new Midway Coffee shop, Jailhouse Provisions restaurant and more. We start our season with two adult bikes in great condition. and hopefully they will be great when you arrive. But we do not guarantee the condition. Riverside Adventure on the island will rent additional bikes or if you need children's sizes. Our full time, on island home manager will go the extra mile to help guests feel special and welcome. *Club memberships are optional and subject to availability. The costs are separate and not included with the rental of the home. *Homes with fireplaces are likely deactivated for the safety of the home and its guests. *There may be security cameras covering the exterior of the home for the safety of the home and its guests. *We cannot guarantee the condition or availability of any bikes that may come with the home. *Please note that the pool is seasonal and is generally open from May 1st to September 30th.

We had a great labor day weekend here. The house was the perfect size for our family. We didn't even do the BHI Club membership this time because we had a pool right across from us! This was important because BHI Club didn't let guest members in on weekends all summer anyway. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time on Bald Head! Tyler was awesome and very responsive when we got a flat tire in our golf cart! The pool next door was a bit for the kids! Thanks for a memorable trip!

Great location within the neighborhood. Kids spent lots of time in the morning and early evening at the pool. The beach was easy to get to but did require a cart ride. House was well equipped with beach chairs and toys.

This was our first time on Bald Head Island and this house was a great place to call home base. We loved that it was tucked away in the shade with a community pool steps from the house. The screened-in porch was perfect for early morning coffee and drinks after a day exploring the island. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner was very easy to reach for questions. Highly Recommend! One thing that I will mention that has nothing to do with this house but is good to know for your BHI vacation planning...I would not recommend purchasing the BHI Club membership since this house has a pool. It was too restrictive and required reservations for everything. We found it to be a huge waste of money.

Five women celebrated a big birthday in this charming cottage. The location was central to everything and the pool was right across the road. The house was clean and was very comfortable. The kitchen is pretty cozy. Communication with the manager and owner was excellent and they were very responsive.

This cute, well appointed cottage seems surprisingly spacious! The master suite is huge and there’s lots of room to sit and relax in the comfortable, attractive living room and on the glassed in porch. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed to cook meals for 5. We greatly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed for a fabulous week at Bald Head!

Really enjoyed staying here. First time on the Island and so wasn’t sure what to expect or have a sense of which locations might be better / worse. This place was perfect because it was easy to get to the all the places we wanted to go and having access to the community pool meant we could just chill there when we didn’t feel like going to the club or the beach, both of which were super easy to get to. Property was well equipped and felt bigger than the sq ft suggests. Would highly recommend.

The house was the perfect size and layout for our group. Although not on the beach, there was a neighborhood pool. The beach and club were a quick golf cart or bike ride away. We look forward to returning to BHI.
