About this house rental
Nestled in Bald Head Island, this attractive house for $495 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Located between the Bald Head Island Golf Course and the Old Baldy Lighthouse. Three bedroom, three and a half baths, outdoor shower,sleeps nine.(One king, one queen, one twin, bunk bed twin over full and one queen pullout) Relaxing deck overlooking Bald Head Island Golf Course and Maritime Forest. Amenities include two new golf carts (four passengers). Please do not remove the curtains from the golf carts they can be rolled up or roll down never removed One minute to beach access. Near Bald Head Island Club, Bald Head Island Marina Village, Old Baldy Lighthouse, and South Beach. Great house with great views and upgrades throughout the house. This is the house for those wanting a great kitchen and the ultimate baths! No Smoking and No Pets please! We have beach chairs and beach umbrellas stored in the garage for your use We do not supply beach towels you must bring your own Temporary memberships available 2022 rates for Bald Head Island Country Club please go to the baldhead island club website the temporary membership Form and rates will be on the website www.bhiclub.net/guest membership Shoals Club temporary membership form and rates will be on the Shoals Club website for 2023 It is expected that club memberships will sell out for summer dates and holidays, so we encourage you to make those arrangements with the club as early as possible. All club memberships must be purchased directly through club Please note: We have restructured Guest Member 2023 pricing from per bedroom to per person. Guest Members will not be able to bring guests. Every Guest Member coming through the Club gate and using Club amenities will need to be a registered Guest Member. The Bald Head Island Club has established appropriate caps for the number of Guest Members for high season and holidays to improve service and eliminate crowding in the pools and dining rooms. We will register approved Guest Member applicants on a first-come/first-served basis. We anticipate that Guest Memberships will reach their holiday and high season weekly cap quickly once we open registration. Our registration software will have a date/time stamp for all Guest Membership requests as they are received. https://www.bhiclub.net/guest-membership CANCELATION – Cancelations must be made in writing by email to [email protected]. Please be aware, if you need to cancel your high season Guest Membership for any reason, you may do so up to 30 days prior to arrival and will receive a refund, minus a $50 processing fee. If you cancel between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a $50 processing fee. Refunds are not possible for No-shows and cancelations under two weeks. Tired of lugging your chairs, tent, coolers and games to the beach and back everyday? This coming season, relax in style with Coastal Urge’s Luxury Tent Package! The folks at Urge do all the hard work for you, as their new package includes delivery and set up of a custom 10x10 beach tent, four adjustable chairs, a Bluetooth-enabled Smart cooler, ice, six bottles of water, a corn hole set and a trash bag for easy clean-up. All items are delivered to the beach access of your choice by 10:30am each morning and taken down after 5pm. All you need is your towel, your shades and sunscreen :) Reservations for the coming season are now available - Please specify whether you desire a one, three or six day luxury tent rental or speak to one of Urge's friendly associates by calling 1-800-383-4443 We are going the extra mile to provide our guests with clean vacation homes. Our housekeeping staff has completed the course, "What House Cleaning Professionals Need to Know in a COVID-19 World". We are following these precautions in the cleaning of our vacation rentals every week: • We do not reuse cloths or floor mops from one house to another. Each team is given adequate clean cloths each day to clean their assigned homes. These cloths and mop heads are laundered in the hottest water setting available, in line with what the CDC recommends. • When the team arrives, each team member will wash their hands with soap and water, and don a new pair of disposable nitrile gloves. These will be thrown away once the home is complete. Our team members will wash their hands again just before leaving. Each team member will wear masks, shoe coverings, and safety glasses while inside the home. Shoe coverings will also be discarded at the completion of each home and not used from one house to another. • Each visit we sanitize doorknobs, light switches, and all other high-touch areas in each room of the home in addition to our regular cleaning procedures. • We have researched the CDC’s list of acceptable cleaners to use, and are thrilled to report that what we already use to clean our homes are recommended by the CDC. We also have a security camera that faces the garage door where the golf carts are stored and also one in the doorbell on the front porch that just faces out towards the street they were installed because people would occasionally take the golf carts for joy rides

Emmett’s Place was a great rental! More space than pictures seem to show. After multiple visits to BHI, we knew the common things we needed to pack. Some extra benefits of this rental were Roku televisions, plenty of linens and blankets, detergents, books, and games. Inside of the home was very clean. The outdoor decks, porch furniture, and garage could use some cleaning for all of the spiders and webs, but that is normal for being in a wooded area. Communication through messages and in the binder were very helpful. Thank you for a great weekend!

Our friends had a lovely week at this home. They saw alligators, Kingfishers, Egrets, and many deer while enjoying the upper deck. They were all very comfortable and happy :-) The owner was extremely helpful and kind.

Had a great family vacation. Had great beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for our visits to the beach. 2 nice golf carts. The only thing we needed that we didn’t have were bikes. We were able to rent them in the island but would have been nice to have.

Great location on the island. The house is fairly well-kept and perfect for a small group. Watch out for wildlife in the water at the edge of the back lawn. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a large gator eating a turtle in the backyard!

This house was perfect for our group. We had 4 adults and 3 teenage girls, so was wonderful that we all had our own full bathroom. Perfect having 2 golf carts and the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities. Location was good, close to marina and only a short drive to Shoals club and market. Would definitely consider staying in this property again.

Initially, we booked this home for our small family (two adults, one 12 year old), but when we got there we were pleasantly thrilled by how large the home was. The photos don't do justice about how lovely this home is. It is much larger than it appears. Plenty of space for 4 adults and three kids if needed.
The home is beautifully furnished and very clean. There are two patios, one on the ground floor which is screened and one upstairs which is not. Upstairs has a lovely view of Old Baldy, the golf course, and the noisy birds.
There's no downside to this property, but no bikes are available but that's not a major problem as they are easy to rent for $25 a day.

Nice house but wasn’t as clean as I’d like . Housekeeping needs to step it up a notch ! They forgot to put pillow cases on a couple beds . Outdoor areas need to be blown or at least swept off between guests . Outdoor shower is only cold water. Only one roll of tp per bathroom? And like one bath towel per person. I don’t know about most people but I certainly don’t want to do any laundry when on vacation. No laundry soap provided either so we did have to buy that as well as extra tp. The owner is very nice and apologetic; communication was excellent.

The house was a perfect location for us because we traveled by boat from Charleston SC with friends so we wanted to be close to the marina and restaurants The house is very cute and has a beautiful view of Old Baldy! Comfortable furniture and living space. We loved having the two golf carts since we had two couples so we could do things separately. I communicated primarily with the host who was extremely prompt and helpful with responses, answers to my questions and resolving any issues we had. House needs a little TLC but overall very cute and comfortable! Thanks for a fun stay on Bald Head Chris!

House was good. Loaded with spiders which should have been removed before we arrived. Didn’t need property management telling us “ it’s in the woods you know”. Island woefully under staffed. Supermarket shoals ferry shops. Market shelves bare. Will think twice about recommending or returning. If shoals member only Monday will not return. Shoals beach didn’t want to get our chairs after use. Just sat there and said we had to return. Never happened before. Luggage didn’t get on our return ferry- first time in 10 years. Luggage not put on racks- left on carts. On arrival luggage left at driveway. Always been put on front porch. Service level on the island worst ever and totally unacceptable

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house! The pictures don’t quite do it justice - it is more spacious than it appears online, particularly the bedrooms. It fit our family of 5 perfectly. The beds were very comfortable, the entire house was very clean and comfortable, and the two golf carts were in great condition. We are very much hoping to return in future summers!

Well appointed house in good location. Wonderful upstairs open living space & appreciated bathrooms with each bedroom! Also 2 golf carts were so helpful!
The kitchen had all the equipment you’d need-Only thing missing in the kitchen was a pitcher!
Wish is that check out was not quite so early-we hated to leave!

The location was great and you even have a view of Old Baldy from your back deck. My family and I stayed here for the week
Of Thanksgiving and it was the perfect space for us. The huge open living space on the second floor was great for entertaining and has a beautiful view of old baldy. We even cooked our Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect and all had their own large bathrooms. The golf carts were also great (fast too! :)). Overall, we had an amazing stay!

Hello John & Chris, just wanted to say we really enjoyed your home on Bald Head. The kitchen was very well stocked with Utensils and a great space for making great meals. The entire house was clean and very comfortable. The air conditioner and bathrooms worked very well. Plus both golf carts had plenty of pep.
It was our first rental on golf course, that provided lots of views of the wild life from your rear balcony.

Tradition in the making!
Two families of 4 stayed at Emmet’s Place and it was perfect for us. The bedroom/bathroom layout, living space, and screened porch were delightful and we never felt crowded. Great location- easy golf cart ride to everywhere. Great view of Old Baldy from the house. Definitely will stay again.

Great location, great setup for family weekend. We appreciated the new golf carts that worked really well and the chairs and beach stuff available. The surfaces and house were well cleaned before we arrived which we appreciated.
