The room with two twins also has a trundle bed that pulls out from under one of the twins. Our home boasts gleaming hardwood floors throughout and beautiful comfortable furniture.. Located in the center of the island, at the end of Sabal Palm Trail, the cottage is perfectly situated within minutes from the beach, as well as the harbor, restaurants, 'Old Baldy', both clubs, the creek access and Maritime market. After a day at the beach, it is a pleasure to return home to the comfort of the live oaks and the peace and serenity of the sabal palm community. *For an additional charge, our guests may select temporary membership (not included and not guaranteed - dependent upon availability) at either Shoals or Bald Head Island Club.. Shoals club is located at East beach in a superb ocean side setting. It offers both a main pool and smaller child's pool with beautiful ocean views. Informal pool side and restaurant dinning are available as is a small gym. For those wanting to play golf or tennis, Bald Head Island club offers both, as well as a gym and a fantastically updated series of pools for all ages. A brand new ocean view restaurant offers more casual dining, but if it's more formal dining you're looking for, you'll find that within the stylish club house. The home includes the use of two *NEW BINTELLI* 4 seater golf carts and beach chairs. Your quote will include exit cleaning fee and the NC and Village Rental Usage taxes. If you are not familiar with Bald Head Island, imagine a quiet, relaxing place with beautiful and varied surroundings. Whether you are looking for an active vacation on the water or on land or one spent enjoying the 14 miles of wonderful beaches, there's something for everyone. Fishing, sailing, kayaking, golfing ,biking, beach combing, nature trails, exploring the island after dark or turtle watching with the interns. What ever your chosen past time, our house offers a lovely relaxing atmosphere to return to. Relax on the screened porch with a view of the lagoon and enjoy a drink. We will be ready to assist you with your pre-visit planning, ferry and tram reservations, and information about the island facilities. We are here to help make you stay a great one. Please note this home does not have a grill. If you stayed in the Sabal Palm area in past years, the communal grills have since been removed. *Club memberships are optional and subject to availability. We enjoyed our stay . House was perfect size for the 5 of us . Loved having the lagoon . I saw a alligator, ibis, egrets and turtles. Enjoyed having coffee on the porch watching for wildlife! House is in great location , sorta middle! Was very quiet and peaceful in the Sabal Cottages. Would love to come back here !

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this cottage for our family of four and we had plenty of room to have had more people with us! The location is so nice at the end of a wooded street and with the pond in the back. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the turtles. The home was very nicely updated and very comfortable. We recommend this home!

We spent 3 nights in this great house. The owners were very accommodating from the moment I booked the reservation, and the house was perfect for our family. It is spacious, clean, and well stocked. The golf carts were great for getting around the island. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 5 (3 teens) stayed at 6 Sabal Palm cottage. We had a great stay with plenty of room to spread out. Beds were comfortable and the house is updated nicely. The house had everything we needed- including beach towels, beach chairs. We enjoyed playing games at night and sitting on the back porch. We saw a few alligators, turtles, and egrets. The property manager was very communicative and went out of his way to help us out with anything we needed. Thanks for. a great stay!

This was my family’s first Bald Head Island trip and it did not disappoint. The house was great for my husband, three teens and me. There was plenty of room and the house was clean and very private, but close to restaurants and the market. We saw gators in the lagoon behind the house every day. The kitchen had everything we needed and the two golf carts were great. Barbara was easily accessible and took care of our needs. Great experience.

This house is beautiful! Totally updated with view of lagoon. Centrally located making all outings super easy. Kitchen is well stocked and living room is large and comfy. The screened porch is great for reading and watching wildlife. We had 6 adults and had a great time. Didn’t see any bikes or a grill but we rented bikes and cooked inside. We would definitely stay here again!

We have been on the island for many years. This was a change from our East Beach roots but we loved the location. It took us a while but we were even able to walk to the ferry on our departure date after we dropped our luggage. Nice and quiet local. Perfect house layout for 4 teens and two adults.

First time bringing my 80 year old grandmother (for her birthday) and family to BHI and it was absolutely magical! The house was crystal clean and very well stocked...and very comfortable! Located right on the edge of a pond/marsh with an impressive abundance of exciting and serene wildlife. This in my opinion was so much better than being on the ocean. The house is so close to everything, located in the most central of locations. & Barbara, the property manager...she made this the most wonderful vacation for everyone in my group. I have never had a VRBO stay that had a property manager so attentive and friendly. Barbara catered to each and very one of our questions/needs within minutes. I rate this property easily a 10/10, and will definitely be back!

We just returned from another fantastic vacation on Bald Head. This is the 2nd time staying in this house. It is very well stocked, in a great location and would definitely stay here again. Barbara, the house host was very quick to respond and very helpful.

Pros: Great Vacation! House fully stocked and very nice. Once on island : good communication. Cons: Advertised a grill but no grill. Also some of beach items broken when we got there. Communication 2-3 weeks out was not the best. Asked several times about club membership and finally was told to call them myself. Overall great location and amazing time just wish some of extras were in better condition and it was easier to get in touch with someone.

We stayed for a long weekend. The house was immaculate, beds were very comfortable and the location was great! We really enjoyed staying inland with the lagoon in the back watching turtles soaking in the sun and listening to all the birds. Location made it an easy cart ride to the market, light house, the creek access and the beach.

Bald Head Island is a lovely area to go and get away from it all! This house is mid island and you feel like you are in another world. We loved it. The house is nicely decorated and very well furnished with all that you would need on vacation. It also was very clean! We will DEFINITELY rent this house again.
