If you wish, the option to purchase temporary membership at the nearby elegant Shoals Club is also available. When you arrive, swing open the white-picket fence and stroll down the quaint boardwalk toward the Nantucket-inspired cottage. On the way, there is an outdoor shower and access to a "tree house" style guest cottage with a queen-size bed and ensuite. At the main house, the screened in porch offers a place to play cards, enjoy thoughtful conversation, breathe in the salty, fresh air, and listen to the symphony of nature--tree frogs, soothing surf, and cicadas guaranteed. Al fresco dining an option. Gas-grill available. Enter a welcoming kitchen with stainless steel appliances connected to an intimate dining area which comfortably seats 6 (including a cozy built-in window seat). Pass by the built-in bookcase to a spacious family room with large windows, light hardwood floors, and flat screen TV.
