Situated in Lake Anna, this charming house for $397 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Spend your days swimming, boating, and soaking up the summer sun at this waterfront home on the southwestern shores of Lake Anna. Spacious and full of sunlight, this house has a private dock with a swimming platform, an open deck, and a screened porch at the water's edge. Begin each morning with coffee on the back deck that runs the length of the house, where you can catch the sun coming up over Lake Anna. Head across the lawn to launch the two provided kayaks from the dock, returning home in time for a homemade breakfast prepared in the well-appointed kitchen. This home is full of options for family entertainment, whether you're hosting a lunchtime barbecue on the gas grill, watching TV and playing board games in the great room, or retreating downstairs to the open game room with billiards, foosball, Ping-Pong, and another TV. The HOA also hosts a private marina and tennis courts if you're looking for a bit more activity. At night, you'll find that all bedrooms have TVs and attached bathrooms. Additional features include central air-conditioning throughout the house and a private washer/dryer for all your laundry needs. THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia, LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Dock details: Guests will have access to the boat slip in the boathouse, which will fit any standard size pontoon boat or cruising watercraft. The water depth is four feet at the shallowest point, and there are tie-downs and bumpers. There is a neighborhood marina and boat ramp available. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

12 of us for New Years and to celebrate our daughters birthday. Great view over the lake. Sunsets and sunrises were amazing. Huge deck. Screened in dock was also much fun despite the cold weather. Big kitchen. Lots of beds which were actually super comfortable. Game room was a hit with the younger crowd. Our dogs loved it too. Played ball in huge front yard. Just 15 minutes from Food Lion which is also nice. We didn’t really go anywhere while we stayed. Just ate good food, read books, watched movies, hung out on the dock. Highly recommend for off season if you’re looking for quiet and comfortable stay. I’m sure it’s just as fun during the summer.

Overall it was a great place to stay at Lake Anna. If you're thinking of choosing to stay here, read below:
- If you like to cook and are cutting food often, bring your own cutting board (they do not have any wooden ones)
- There weren't many kitchen cloth towels (only two). Paper towels were two rolls for a 3 night stay
- There are wonderful lake views in every room with big windows, and sunrise can be very bright in the morning!
- Noticeable lack of thorough dusting/cleaning and clearing of cobwebs. High trafficked and visible areas are perfectly clean and fine though.
- Check the pans before you use them. Not all of them were clean on arrival.
- The dock accessories detailed in the listing are in the dock closet

We had a great time at the lake. House had plenty of space for all of us and lots to do. We went out Kyaking, paddle boarding and fishing almost every day. We played croquet and made s’mores. House was well equipped. Great views from the deck. Could use some new chairs by the fire pit. Boardwalk mini golf is a fun night out. We will definitely be back.

Great quiet get away

This was a well-equipped home and very clean. All four bedrooms have their own bathroom and TV. Be sure to bring dishwasher detergent, kitchen towels, and plastic wrap because there were none there. We did have a couple of problems. The first was that the code to get in the door didn't work and I had no cell service (T-Mobile) and I had to drive over a mile for a signal to get in touch with the company. None of the electrical outlets in the master bathroom worked. A handyman came out quickly to fix it but decided it was beyond his expertise and said someone more knowledgable would come out but he never did the whole week we were there. The handyman also attempted to fix the bathroom shower upstairs that wasn't draining properly and made a loud noise. He got the drain unplugged but didn't fix the noise so my grandson had to use one of the other bathrooms. The water is really warm on that side of the lake but that is not a problem. You can fish off the dock and my grandson & his friend caught a 6 lb bass and 3 good sized catfish. They threw them back in of course. All in all we had a good week and I would rent this place again if they fix those minor problems and if I get my phone service changed back to AT&T.

Beautiful home with lake views from every room. Immaculate. It is dog friendly but we would have never known dogs were in the house before our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. The game room in the basement was a lot of fun when we weren’t boating or outside playing games. The front yard is huge... I had forgotten our horseshoe game and was happy to see they had one set up. We had plenty of room for bocce. The boathouse and dock had plenty of room to hang out at night. The house is very private with nothing but land across the lake..a farm…really pretty view.
The only issue we had was that our king bed did not have sheets. I called and they were delivered almost immediately by a very apologetic, pleasant woman.
We have stayed at Lake Anna every year for many years. This house rented for much less than our previous houses so I was not sure what to expect, but, it was as nice if not nicer than the others..,so, bonus.
The only thing I would suggest is adding outside furniture to the boathouse ( and lights) and game room. Both are such nice areas but neither had enough furniture for everyone to stay in them comfortably for any amount of time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake. The house was huge and we really enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The house was also very clean. The house had a lot of perks that other rentals we stayed at did not (soap, shampoo, detergent, trash bags, etc.)
We would recommend that the property management team acknowledge communications since they request that we send photos of damage and/or report issues with the house.
We also would recommend cleaning out the shower and bath drains since all the bathrooms we tried had very slow drains and water would back up into the shower pan or tub.
Finally, we enjoyed the east facing house, but our kids woke up at sunrise everyday since the curtains were not black out curtains.
With all that said, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the next few seasons to enjoy more of Lake Anna.

The house was just as described. Large bedrooms, very comfortable beds and all of the linens were provided. If you want to go anywhere just be prepared for a drive. There is a nice brewery and cidery not far from the house. We went on a beautiful boat tour on the lake which was great. I highly recommend the Orange Trawler

We had a great time at this lake house. Our wedding was April 22 in Louisa so it was the perfect location to house our wedding party for a couple nights and then enjoy it all to our selves too. One bathroom shower was not draining well and when I put a bath towel on the floor to grab when I got out of the shower, black hair was on it. Overall great stay, great view, and very peaceful.

Our family got together at this property in Lake Anna, I could not say enough things about how amazing our stay was. From the newly furnished interiors, to the big patio in the bag and screen porch. There were 2 kayaks available for our use, fishing equipment, lots and lots of board games and playing cards. The basement also had a great range of games like pool, table tennis, and Foosball. There was something for evedy single age group to do! Each and every bedroom was massive and each one had a TV in it with lots of streaming services. Lots of linens and bedding provided for the entire family (the mattresses were super comfortable). Even though we went here in winter/ off season, we enjoyed so so much- tbe host did everything to accommodate for us. And the best part is, we were able to see the sunrise right from thr living room and it was so beautiful. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back here soon!

This home has a terrific view from so many rooms. You'll love it. However, if you have any intention of cooking while you are there, bring equipment. There was no baking sheets; no small water glasses and no glass baking dishes.

To be clear, the trouble we had was with the management company only. About 2 weeks out from our check-in date I contacted Vacasa regarding a fire pit. We noticed the house was not listed as having a fire pit and asked if we could bring one ourselves. They responded that there was already a fire pit at the house so we did not bring our own. We purchased items like metal skewers and camfire style pizza makers for cooking around the fire pit. Upon arrival, I noticed there was no fire pit and contacted Vacasa the morning of our 2nd day (afterall, we checked in after there office hours for the local management office). There was also a gas leak coming from both the propane tanks for the gas grill, and the showers on the main floor wouldn't drain without plunging them. the management company sent out an agent for the company that took care of the grill issue by replacing the tank of propane but the shower drains and the fire pit issue was not resolved. I contacted Vacasa's help libe everyday to remediate the situation, and was told the issue had been passed on to the local management office but that office never contacted me.
While we didn't let this ruin our time at the house it is certainly disappointing that the company doesn't communicate with their guests after so many attempts from the guest.

House was wonderful just the right amount of space having a separate bathroom for each bedroom was a definite bonus when traveling with 9 women 🙂. We also enjoyed the pool and ping pong table.

Love the roominess of the house and the view was beautiful. House was clean, had little extras like board games and cards. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. We had a wonderful time and would come back again. Thank you for a wonderful experience, the whole family loved it!

We stayed with a few couples, our dogs, and a six month old baby for the weekend and it was great! The game room in the basement was awesome- we spent every night there. The grill works like a charm for grilling up dinner. The beach area was great for walking in the water. Floats were provided which were nice for lounging in the water. This is on the private side of Lake Anna, which to our surprise doesn't connect to the other side so the boat we rented couldn't make it to the dock as it's blocked by a dam. Just something to keep in mind! Lots of bugs but to expected as we are at the lake. Upstairs bedrooms could use some better blinds as it's very bright in the morning. Also, I was told there was a firepit by the management company but there wasn't and you aren't allowed to bring one. Overall we loved the house and it was perfect for the weekend but wanted to share some of the details!

The house was very comfortable. Happy there were 2 kayaks and very nice dock. The hill was quite difficult for the family member with physical challenges. Really expensive to rent any water equipment but the dollar store had tubes (family members blew them up) and they were perfect. We had to contact property manager for dishwasher full of dirty dishes and wouldn’t turn on. Someone came the next morning and after checking EVERYTHING discovered there was a switch on the wall, not near the dishwasher, that turned it on and off. Everything super clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have a blanket throw on the couch and maybe a couple hangers in the huge huge closet. We enjoyed our stay and the deck was pleasant for eating dinner in the evening.
