I liked that there was plenty of grass and safe places to walk my two dogs . There are NO sidewalks in residential neighborhoods in Aransas Pass , Texas, near the hotel, so I walked on an asphalt street . It was extremely hot since it was August . It is a great location - close to Wal- Mart and HEB. Lots of restaurants less than ten miles away in Port Aransas, Portland and Ingleside, Texas . Air conditioning in the room was excellent . Shower was huge and the water pressure was great.
The staff was not at the front desk, you had to use a phone to call them to come to the front desk and help you check in. I preregistered with Wyndam hotels directly , and the staff said they “ did not receive it.” So I had to show my license, give then my Credit card, relay my Vehicle License plate info, etc . I preregistered online so I would not have to keep my dogs in the car for ten minute while inside . Preregistering was a total waste of time . Breakfast was awful - Fruit Loops for Frosted Flakes Cereal, choice of white or wheat bread and a basket of old apples . On Friday and Saturday they added yogurt and one banana . No one there to say hello or tank you . The coffee in the lobby was good. However, Wednesday morning someone had spilled sugar on the coffee maker table. Thursday morning the same granulated sugar was on the counter, no one had cleaned it up in 24 hours .

The door jam of the restroom looked like it had been mald by dog and needed to be fix and painted.
