We had a nice and comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well equipped. Although a bit dated, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful — they arranged the return of our rented motorbike while we were on a tour and also handed our luggage to the taxi driver for us. This saved us a lot of time and made our travel much easier

The owner is very friendly, and happy to help you book tours etc.
1. The bathroom stank
2. The bathroom door would not close
3. There is not enough ventilation in the room. My CO2 monitor showed unhealthy levels of CO2 even with the sliding door ajar. The window does not open.
4. The aircon is very loud and pretty ineffective. This disturbs sleep quality.
5. The lake visit group tour booked through reception was subpar. It entailed hours of driving around.
6. The hotel is pretty isolated and far from town. You need a scooter here, but there are no scooters available from the hotel. Instead, you need to go fetch a scooter from town.
7. While we were out, someone came into our room. Presumably to clean. But they did not clean. We found they had broken the toilet seat, seemed to have messed around with our bags (the zip was in a different position), opened the windows (so tghe place baked in the sun), and left the lights on. Yet the bed was not made, and the place was not tidy. So I have no idea why they came inside. When I asked the owner, she stated that yes, this was the cleaner.
8. There was a sipder in the toilet, and it crawled on my girlfriend while she was in a vulnerable position.
9. It's fairly expensive. I feel overpriced for what you get.
