Unieke accommodatie

Bijzondere accommodatie waarbij je echt in de jungle verblijft. Wij verblijven in de Family House en dit was helemaal prima. Ontbijt was ook prima. Van te voren is het mogelijk om de 2 dagen/1 nacht tour te boeken naar Khao Sok Nationaal Park, wat een enorme aanrader is.

De locatie van The Jungle House ligt op ongeveer een kwartier lopen van alle restaurantjes en barretjes. In principe prima, maar het laatste stuk naar de accommodatie is niet verlicht en het spannend is om naar het park te lopen (zeker als je alleen bent is dit niet aan te raden). Er zijn wel taxi mogelijkheden, maar niet veel.

A nature bliss

Such a jewel in the nature of Khao Sok . Love everything about it. The service was also very good with staff showing positive attitude and smile all the time. The only place I would stay when in Khao Sok

Exceptional

I liked being surrounded by the forest. It was really beautiful.

I felt like the activities were really overpriced. There should have been some free activities like borrowing bicycles or conplimentary tea. I felt like we were being charged every step of the way.

In Natures lap, listening to the symphony of varied insects and monkeys and tinkling river stream.

The property is located in the rainforest, I am at loss of words to describe it. If one loves nature in all its glory with all its good and bad then you’ll love the place, is all I can say. All I can say about the staff is they were smiling beautiful people and made our stay very memorable.

Great stay in the middle of nature along the river

We stayed in the treehouse and the bungalow. In between we did the overnight tour on the Lake which we also booked at our jungle house. We could leave our bags at our jungle house. Tour was amazing! Both the accomdations at our jungle house were wonderful. In front of the treehouse was the river where we could have a lot of fun in the cool water with a rope that was hanging from the trees. Even when it rained it was great. We loved all the sounds from the nature around. The food was also tasty. The personel is really friendly. I highly recommend this Place!

A great rustic experience

It truly gives you the experience of being in the jungle.

I thought the hotel and staff were great, but in hindsight it probably wasn’t a good choice for me as the sound of the jungle kept me awake at night. It was too rustic for me.

jungle treehouse

This place is amazing. Treehouses in the jungle. Just stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

It would be great if there were free push bikes to use but the walk to town isn’t that far. There is no wifi in the rooms. Was no problem for us but just FYI.

Checked out early and was not refunded for second night

There are no screens or barrier from the jungle to the room. I was covered in bug bites after just one night in the room even though I used the net. It stormed all night which was extra spooky given the room wasn’t closed off and so many trees around, lucky nothing happened.

You can relax on the balcony with a view on green scenery and listen to the sounds of the forest.

After busy Bangkok it was a nice change! You can relax on the balcony with a view on green and natural scenery and listen to the sounds of the forest. Monkeys will come to visit you :) you can eat tasty food or drink a Thai beer in the restaurant/bar. Reception staff is very friendly and will help you to organise an additional trip (overnight lake trip in our case).

Incredible place

Incredible stay, food was amazing, hospitality was brilliant. Sounds of the jungle, view of the mountains and little river running through and monkeys sitting on your porch. I would definitely stay again

Amazing, we loved it!

An amazing place to stay. Beautiful location absolutely charming and such an experience to stay here! Food is really good. Our room was great, although be prepared to share it with a few bugs and the odd frog in the bathroom. This is such a great place to stay if you want to experience being in the jungle but with a proper bed and a toilet!

Nothing, it was all amazing! Only a ceiling fan so it did get quite hot at night. No Wifi in the room, which did not both us but may be a problem for some. There was Wifi in the bar, reception and restaurant.

Close to the nature

Located in the jungle where you can observe monkeys and jungle life which was very nice. Polite staff.

Houses are partly opened (between wooden bars there is no net) so indects and even frogs can go into the house. If you are afraid of insects, don’t go. Trips are a bit more expensive than in other hotele in Khao Sok even if it’s the same trip. Arround 10 minutes walk to the town.

unique stay in the jungle

+ The wooden house is respectfully integrated in the area. It is unique to stay in the jungle with all this amazing flora and fauna around you. + The restaurant's breakfast and dinner was so delicious. You don't need to go to the village, such a cozy atmosfere after a long day trip to Cheow Lan Lake. + All the staff was amazing, very kind and helpful + There was a nice ceiling fan in the house for the heat/humidity and warm shower water (always important to mention)

Hm everything was really nice, so the only thing i can mention is that it would be nice the bathrooms to be a bit nicer? They were a little bit like camping which we didn't mind because you go there to experience nature. And just fyi the room is quite open (pergola kind at the facade contstruction). We didn't have any problems with insects/mosquitos/animals.

Beautiful surroundings by the river, nice and quiet at night…

Nice rural resort which is nice and quiet at night.

It’s a little far off the main road and it would have been nice to have a shuttle service a few times a day. The breakfast was awful, lots of food served cold which was disappointing.

Everything there is great but this location and its atmosphere is just amazing, nature literally surrounds you. Houses are perfectly arranged, include everything you need. Choose full day hike and you will see truly living jungle. Every seen lizard or monkey is way more satisfying than 10 zoo visits. Moreover, the restaurant has great food, at least the dishes we had. Fantastic activities (we had night safari, full day hike and bamboo cooking), friendly staff. Fully recommend, best accommodation I had in Thailand.

Wonderful jungle adventure

Great jungle atmosphere, monkies all around and a river right next to our room, voices of the jungle were music to our ears at night. A charming adventure to be remembered for a long time, loved everything in that place

If you love nature you have to stay there. The resort is located in the middle of the rainforest. The personnel is very helpful and welcoming and helps organizing tours and transfers, for a fair price. We also loved the food served in the restaurant.

Charming hotel in the jungle

Houses are really located in the middle of the jungle, but not so far from the main road. Room was spacious and clean. There was drinking water in the room available during the whole stay. Staff were very kind and helpful, they speak English well. I strongly recommend visiting that hotel.

There was pretty wet, but it is normal because rooms are located in the rainforest. We had a scorpion in our bathroom, but personnel dealt with it really fast. It was quite dark in the room.

Amazing place to relax and sleep in the jungle!

I highly recommend this place it’s very special and lovely to visit and stay in a jungle. I took a whole room as a sole troubler, even though it was a bit expensive the experience was amazing. Pros: amazing staff amazing location great rooms with nice beds great food in the hotel restaurant

Cons: small beds for tall people shower stream was slow shower heater didn’t heat the water too much the room lighting was quite low and it was mostly dark in the room
