Very friendly and helpful staff and a spacious room. They were also kind enough to store my luggage for several days while I was away on a jungle excursion, which I really appreciated. The immediate surroundings are not particularly interesting, but the location is convenient for getting to Sepilok and is also close to the airport.
The room is quite dated and there is not much attention to detail. There is a kettle, for example, but no coffee or tea. The bed linen also looked very old and had several stains that were probably permanent rather than unwashed, but it did not give a very fresh impression.
