Das Resort ist ein Kleinod an den einsamen Stränden an der Westküste. Besonders möchten wir Antony erwähnen. Er ist die Seele des Hauses und ist stets Ansprechpartner und unermüdlicher Kümmerer. Danke für die Organisation der SafariTour. Reichliches frisch zubereitetes Frühstück und leckerer Fisch zum Abendessen. Ein entspannter Aufenthalt in ruhiger Atmosphäre, Strand und Meer soweit schön natürlich. Danke an das Team

Super Lage direkt am Strand, toller Pool und unglaublicher Service von Chama und Anthony. Extrem gute wohlfühl Athmosphäre
Offene Badezimmer waren von Tieren oft verschmutzt - mussten WC mit Streifenhörnchen teilen

È stato il nostro primo approccio con lo Sri Lanka e non sarebbe potuto essere migliore!
Il resort ha tutto ciò che è necessario per passare una vacanza rilassante e forse anche di più: staff molto attento e gentile, strutture eccezionali e piatti incredibili. Piscine molto pulite e curate.
Ascoltate i consigli sul pescato del giorno di Anthony e a cena non rimarrete mai delusi. Guardate le foto per credere.
Anche il viaggio in barca in laguna è al parco di Wilpattu è stato fantastico.
Esperienza all’Horizon consigliata!
Si dovrebbe curare un po’ di più la pulizia di alcune parti comuni.

This place has so much potential but it looks like they are not interested in it getting more customers. No wifi in 2026 is just ridiculous. People were saying that in reviews 2 years ago and they still haven't done anything about it. They could solve this issue in a day if they wanted.
The resort space and rooms are gorgeous but the place is deserted and I can understand why.
They have a gorgeous space but then there's this creepy twilight zone of an inside restaurant. When you enter they turn off the nice music they were listening to and put on this absolutely horrid elevator muzak, easily listening instrumentals of classics that would drive a person insane. We go to foreign countries to experience new things, not to have terrible versions of what we get at home. The music honestly is an example of the issue here. They are not giving visitors what they want, they are giving them what they _think_ visitors want. There was no menu anywhere to be found. Not online, not outside the restaurant not in the room. As I was one of two guests staying I figured that nothing can be fresh anyway so ate elsewhere. Apart from breakfast which was the same you get everywhere. I got a choice on day one. On day two I was just given exactly what I had picked on day one, no discussion. Everything was extremely oily and even the fruit selection felt sad.
The difference between here and the resort just two minutes walk up the coast is enormous. There the dining area is outside, looking at the sea, people everywhere, nice atmosphere...menus, cocktails... fancy having the sea right there and hiding it away from what should be your focal point. So weird.
The room is great and the space is really lovely. All sorts of wildlife around that's such a joy. Chipmunks, birds, frogs etc It's such a shame they don't make an effort. Someone has clearly given up but it would be so easy to inject some much needed life back into the place.
Lower the price for a while to get people back and giving good reviews, rethink the disastrous restaurant situation, start encouraging guests of other resorts to come for drinks and meals - outside in front of the sea. I saw a man wonder in, clearly looking for that and just eventually gave up and left.
