this is for youngsters, not for family's with children. The advertisement suggests that you are booking an app but in fact you book 1of 4 rooms in a small app. we got a quadruple room with 1 single bed, a staple bed and a mattress that was standing upright to the wall (called a futon bed :-). with the mattress on the floor, no room to put luggage or move around. The neighborhood is run down, it's a social housing complex. But it was safe. Doesn't hurt to live the experience of living on the bottom of society amongst immigrants, you get to appreciate what you have once you return home. As long as you know what you are booking, I guess you can't find a better deal.

Good location to explore London, the apartment is nothing special.

The location is great; easy access to Elephant&Castle Underground Station, pubs and restaurant around the corner. Cleaning staff were present every day and were very polite.

To preface my assessment let me say that the apartment owner didn’t receive any complaints about us; to quote them, we left the room “in a good condition”. We also left approx. 1 1/2 h before our check-out time. The apartment itself was a bit of a disappointment. Yes, there is a kitchen, a toilette and a bathroom with shower. But all of these rooms are extremely small – as is the flat itself. We were booked in the Carnaby Street Room and upon our arrival, 2/3 of our group of 3 noticed a very distinct smell while entering the first time. That smell was urine. The bedding and towels also smelled stale. During our stay, they were constantly left in the washing machine (kitchen) and stored in the kitchen cabinets, which kind of explains the odour. Our room itself was fairly small, if we had needed the 4th bed (which was only a mattress leaning against the wall), there wouldn’t have been much space on the floor left. And as others noted, the single bed on the window side wasn’t in a good condition. The slat frame was reinforced, nevertheless the first and last pieces kept falling out. (See pictures from other review; was the same room.) The bunk bed was fine for our 3 night stay. If the apartment is fully booked (as it was on at least 1 day of our stay) it gets very crowded. At least, when all guests are there. Also, there is not enough cutlery for 11/12 people. And lastly: I can see why the booking is not refundable if you cancel it. I assume they would lose quite some money. We had a fun time in London, laughed at the unpleasant things of the accommodation and dealt with them, but will never book this apartment ever again.

there is nothing to like about this property

Where do I start with this property 1. Quad room . 3 beds and matters on floor as no bed frame. 2.having to hold shower head ,to have a shower. 3.nails sticking out off the floor boards. 4.one off the beds when I woke up the slates gave way n I feel thru the bed , was ok all night till I woke up to get out off the bed. 5.holes in the bedding sheets . 6 message property owner this morning about these problems, Basically they said they have had reports off noise till gone midnight , they said it was us . I no it was not us as I a 53 Yr old gentleman n husband n 2 friends . Was very quite . It was 2 Chinese girls in the next room to us ,. But the owner still said it was us . I no it was not us at all.

this is for youngsters, not for family's with children.
