Upon arrival at the Aquaventure Reef Club, we were blown away at the location. The owner Gen, and several of her staff were there to meet us at our taxi upon arrival. One of the men just picked up our luggage and placed it in our room.
We opted for all meals - best food I have ever had at a resort. All meals were hand cooked by the chef. We rented a family room so that we could sprawl out. It was comfortable and the AC was nice and cold. The staff was kind and fun. My husband went on two dives and was thrilled with the experience. Gen treated us like family - such a rare thing and made the experience phenomenol. The care and concern that owner Gen shows, is above and beyond. The entire staff was downstairs to say "Mabuhay" and "Aloha" to us at we departed. We even took a photo together. I miss them and the place already. We will be back to stay at this special place.

The staff and owners were very friendly. The Filipino food along with a fusion of other styles was also very good. Their speed boat got us to a good snorkeling site quickly. Snorkeling is also available in front of the resort.
Slightly bigger rooms would be nice. But I don’t think the trade is worth eliminating the beautiful existing wood architecture. Due to rocks it is difficult to get into water at low tide. Mid to higher tide, no problem.

very limited choice of diner - there's not even a menu
no choice at all for breakfast was offered. garlic rice with tomatoes was served with a banana
diving center didn't seem entirely safe to me - I should have guessed when the reception didn't answer my questions about diving
