Wonderful place for kids, spectacular view. Great place to unwind.

Wonderful place for kids Lots of activities to keep them entertained Fishing rods were a nice touch Close to Pinjarra/Dwelingup to explore around Easy access to Major Freeway

Bathroom could do with a refresh Hot water temp set too hot (be mindful if your kid jumps unattended in the shower)

Loved it

The house is super welcoming. Plenty of space both inside and outside to gather. The backyard is beautiful and so relaxing with the river right there. Communication from the hosts was very comprehensive and clear. Very helpful

Great place to relax and unwind.

2nd stay at this lovely bright yellow cabin-style home Excellent location with tranquil river / farm-paddock views. Fireplace is lovey for the cooler months (late autumn / winter / early spring) We didn't use the canoes this time -- however last time was fun thing to do. Fishing rods too -- ready to go with hook-line & sinkers... They also have a nice range of toys for families, as well a range of puzzle books & jigsaw-puzzles to pass the time. Overall well equipped holiday home

The following is more traveler tips rather than specific critique Kitchen:-- Kitted out with good basics however please bring your own: Milk for tea/ coffee; and butter / margarine / spreads and maybe a extra little oil if planning to cook a few meals. Bathroom / toilet -- supplied linens / towels are fine Bring your own specific toiletries (soap shampoos etc)

Lovely family holiday stay

It was a lovely house with everything we needed. The river views were beautiful and was a great family time kayaking and fishing as well as just relaxing together.

Hot water was extremely hot.

We'll be back!

This is our second stay at the property & we love it! Perfect for family time, fishing, boating and time to relax and unwind while enjoying the river view. The private jetty is great for those with boats & a safe place to fish for all ages. The home is well equipped, there's even heaps of board games & jigsaw puzzles. The location is an easy drive from Perth & allows our family members to come & go if necessary.

Exceptional

Having the river in your backyard is amazing indeed, what a beautiful place. Property has everything you can wish for. Kayak, fishing rods, games galore, playground for the kids, lots of space for playing games in the garden. Even with my sore back, I've found the bed very comfortable. The cottage has everything you need. I hope we can go back again.

Being close to the river, you will need mosquito repellent, perhaps this could have been supplied. Wasn't a big issue, as we always take our own.

Nice place to kick back and relax!

Nice location backing onto the river bank. Fireplace is nice in winter time. Good for either a single small family with school going kids OR Up to 2x couples who want a "do-nothing" type of weekend getaway. Kitchen well equipped and has most of the basics like oil / salt / pepper sugar etc. Plenty of board games / reading materials etc to keep people entertained / busy.

Tip: BYO some milk if you want a cupper right when you get in. The Bathroom / toilet area could do with a little refresh / revamp (bit dated) but otherwise nice enough. (minor critique)

Great location for a bff getaway! House was well equipped with everything you need. Beds are comfy. River views were beautiful. Owners were great communicators as well.

It was a bit dusty especially outside furniture - we had to dust it all off to use. Lots of mosquito's late afternoon

Relaxing and had everything you needed for your holiday. Enjoyed our evening bbq looking over the evening sunset on the

Close to the river. It was quiet. River house had everything you would need to make a holiday enjoyable. Fun!

Wasn’t the best getting kayaks and yourself into the kayaks. But we found a way. 👍 Had trouble finding the key box.
