House was great. The booking process with Airkeeper was a nightmare.

We are long-time users of Booking.com - but this house is sublet through a company called Airkeeper. They were intrusive, demanding and incompetent. They even threatened not to give us check-in details because they were waiting for documentation (copies of my license, my DOB, and a 'selfie') that I had provided weeks before and they had confirmed receipt of. We won't ever be booking an Air-Keeper managed property through booking.com again.

Nice house but far to cold as you cant use the fireplace

Clean house and great location

Main photos have a nice fireplace shown - but you arent allowed to use it - no wood supplied and sign saying "please dont use". House has other heating but not sufficient during winter to keep the place remotely warm. DO NOT stay here in winter - its just to cold. Also had no end of problems with the final booking being sorted through Airkeeper - painful process.

Lovely, peaceful and relaxing place amongst the trees.

The location was lovely, quiet, peaceful amongst the rainforest and listening to the sound of the creek/waterfall was beautiful (except for a neighbour going crazy on a leafblower during a storm !?!) House was comfortable. Deck was amazing.

The main critique wasn't with the house but the booking process was appalling. I have booked so easily through booking.com for years. This time even though the booking was confirmed through booking.com I was contacted by Airkeeper to fill in a whole new booking form and provide ID. My payment was rejected even though I had confirmation - I spent a bit of time trying to figure out why it was rejected. I had to go back to them multiple times to check if the booking was confirmed and after asking for an early checkin with no response I had to call them on the day to find out why I hadn't received the checkin details, they told me they were waiting on further information (a selfie! even after providing my drivers licence) which they couldn't process my booking until it was provided. Nobody notified me that anything was held up - it was so inefficient and I did not have time for it and I will avoid any properties through booking.com that have Airkeeper managing them - although it didn't have this stated anywhere that I would be able to tell anyhow. After all that, they told me I could have checked in early no problem, which I'd already missed. Very frustrating, inefficient and wouldn't recommend if you are time poor. A couple of minor points about the house - would have liked to be able to use the fire, even though it was summer we had a super cold snap and that would have been so nice and cosy, but stayed warm with heater. There was a freakish insect explosion the first night - coming out of one of the upstairs cupboards, then they all flew around for a few hours and then lost their wings and died a mass death as quickly as they emerged. Assume it was a one-off but was a bit offputting.
