The 3 flights of narrow stairs! The breakfast was not great at all . The room was not cleaned very well glasses left in washed for days

the room is up 3 flights of stairs ! and then the room itself had stairs to the shower and stairs down to the tv..too many stairs !!

3 flights of stairs...no lift; when I got my room there were more little stairs to the bathroom and down to the TV area ! not enticing for an elderly woman; first night I was there in my room another group were loudly celebrating a 40th birthday...nerds to be a sign requesting quiet..

The location is ideal for exploring the historic part of Palermo, the building and the rooms themselves are beautiful! On Saturdays the antique market is on in the square below you, so you really feel like you are immersed in Palermo life staying here. The two staff working at the hotel were really friendly, and we had clean rooms and towels changed almost every day.
Unfortunately the customer service from Petrosino is very poor, with little (to no) communication. We paid for a room with air conditioning and a mini fridge - both of which were not working throughout our entire stay. We had very hot uncomfortable nights here, as keeping the door open was not an option due to noise outside. We also expected breakfast to be included on-site, and actually it's not - it's from a cafe across the road where you can choose a maximum of 3 items from a specific list. It would be better to not pay for breakfast included and just go out and get your own, for less money. We were not offered an alternative room or any compensation, and the property owner has been ignoring any messages or emails from me. I've even tried to involve Booking.com but so far they have been unable to reach the hotel owner too.
