I booked this room for my son & hus wife and child. I wasnt there. B ut thry said everone from reception & staff were excellent to them . Only complaint was they expected more of a hot food option at breakfast i.e. pancakes or waffles. Said there was a waffle maker but not waffle batter.

We had a great stay. The room was quiet and comfortable. The whole property could use some updates, but it really seems they are in the process of doing just that. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was good. We would absolutely book again. We also loved the pool!

Was an adequate stay. Even though there weren’t many guests we were placed in a room with a lousy location and view. There were no extra blankets. But the room was very clean with a nice kitchen area

About a 30 min commute to bar harbor. The room was musty and felt damp. There was a big storm one evening and there was water all over the floor and bed was wet from the windows being so old. Would not stay here again.

Need an elevator. Lots of elderly folks visiting the state my sister who was with me is one of them with mobility issues. Have to lug your bags to second floor. Someone at the desk got a maintenance man to help but I was already getting them up there myself. Need better breakfast choices to include hot eggs, Bacon etc. Need rooms cleaned everyday. Had to ask for bedding and towel change. The room we had was awesome! Like an extended stay room. No problem with the room!

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!!! I double checked and it is NOT mentioned. Rooms look good and bed comfortable. All staff very nice. When they remodeled though they should have done more than cosmetic changes. Our door stuck, had to bang it closed (sorry everyone else on the floor), AC unit old and made an annoying whinny sound (take your sound machine). Quite dusty. Bathroom small - plenty of room in the suite to enlarge it. No counter space or anywhere to put your toiletries, clothes, towel etc. Breakfast is prepackaged sandwiches, bagels etc, no cooked food which was fine. Requests for tips in room & dining area: made us feel they didn't pay their staff enough. Fire doors are propped open and outside doors are frequently open - not safe at all! For almost $700 for two nights I will not return.

The outside of the hotel is in really poor condition but they are working on it. Thankfully the rooms have been all renovated and are very nice. The breakfast was great, good variety. The maintenance/laundry guy was awesome and a hard worker!

The property is under going construction but our room had been updated and was very comfortable, clean, and nice. The exterior of the building and driveway needs work. Continental breakfast was great. The pool was large and clean but the exercise room needed more weights and different apparatuses.

did not see on website that the Ramada was under construction. Had a handicapped room with a bed that could only be reached by ladder or trebuchet. No way a wheelchair bound person could have gotten into that bed. Missed seeing the paper which read that we had to request room service. dim lighting in bathroom. conveniently located in a shopping center. I felt it was expensive for what we got.

Room was good. Air conditioner didn’t work well, room was stuffy at night. It was a spacious suite for our family of 5. Staff was nice, place was under construction so looked really bad. Also, there were envelopes and tipping QR codes everywhere to tip the housekeepers… I have never heard of such a thing at a simple hotel maybe fancy but not this. This is such a money grab from the owners to pay their employees low wages. Shame shame.

Don’t go here for peak season! It’s already a lot of money but spend that extra 1 or 200 and stay closer to bar harbor or in bar harbor. It’s not that this place is a dump it’s just very very very very overpriced for what you get and the pool is awful.

This building is in a strip mall. There are no elevators or room cleaning service; you can request clean towels by leaving a note at the front office (they are friendly). The pool had brown water. The building is under construction and the hall had fans because there was no working A/C. We had a kitchenette and called to see if it included a stove top. They said yes but there wasn’t any.

They are in the process of updating the rooms. The shower curtain in the room was stained and smelled. Stepped into a patch of wet cement in the parking lot. They did get us a new room when the original room smoke detector went off when I upped the temperature of the room(was 61F) on the A/C unit. Breakfast was adequate, but little more than continental (scones were excellent).

The room and breakfast room were clean but the hotel was in work when we arrived. We thought it was closed but not. We had to go through the work (paint and other)...to go to our room and to go breakfast.

This was our first time staying in the area and we found the ramada to be an affordable solution to the overpriced lodgings in the Bar Harbor location. There were good restaurants in the area and plenty of shopping as well as a manageable drive to Bar harbor. The hotel was going through renovations, but the rooms were finished and done well. They were spacious and had nice amenities including a small kitchenette that even had a dishwasher!

I hated the room. No easy chair and it had a complete kitchen including pots snd pans but no stove. It is useless. I was told all rooms will have the kitchen, but why? Are they expecting illegals or homeless to move in??? The room has extremely thin walls. I heard conversations and music from next door. Also we went in the pool and it was cold, not heated.
