This is very nice hotel just off the main road into the village. They have every amenity such as a sauna, hot pool, lounge and restaurant, great patio with gas fire pits and regular indoor and outdoor pools. The room we had was very clean and nicely designed with a full bath, large sink area and very confortable beds. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall this was a surprisingly good find near the village and we would love to stay here again.

My wife and I visited for the total eclipse. We found the bed very comfortable. There were two minor flaws that could have made our stay even better than five stars. The TV was set in demo mode. Every minute, it would display its features, which was an annoyance while watching the NCAA women's final. The drain plug was broken in the tub, which kept the water in. I "MacGyvered" a solution. The fix-it man fixed it the second day. Great place. I would visit and recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for a brief weekend getaway. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was awesome.

The pool could have been warmer and there were loose tiles that posed a hazard. Also had hair on the bathroom floor but everything else seemed clean. Some type of sports team was staying there and running down the halls and yelling very late a night.

When I travel I don't normally stay in a chain hotel but most of the inns around the Lake George area are closed for the winter season. Overall my stay was pleasant. Once all the children and families were gone the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Saturday night was a crap show. It was loud and noisy and I had to call the front desk at 1am due to drunk people in the hallways all night. Not the hotels fault. Luckily we stayed on Sunday night, so it was quite and was able to sit by the fireplace and enjoy the moment. This hotel probably isn't the best choice if you are traveling with your significant other. But if you have kids, its a great location. They have an outdoor hot tub as well. Very nice outdoor patio with fire pits and beautiful views of the mountains. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a sliding door that doesn't lock which I didn't like. Overall I am giving it 4 stars. It's convenient to downtown Lake George, convenient to all the hiking trails, clean and great staff. I absolutely would not go near this hotel in the summer. 😂

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Lake George for the winter getaway with my husband and 3 children (under 10) When we arrived, we were greeted by Becca, the most kind person at the front desk who advised us of our Kids suite with included 2 incredibly comfy Queen beds & a connecting (massive room) with bunk beds, kids tables and bean bag seats. This was the most comfortable sleeping arrangements we have had at a hotel.
the rooms were also very clean.
We had a visit with Santa in the lobby, complete with cookie decorating and crafts. The pool and outdoor hot tub were awesome, not to mention the little arcade and play area were just perfect for our kids.
The hotel restaurant had the best breakfast, fresh fruits, delicious omelettes and waffles. Best part - kids ate free! We had such an excellent winter getaway - could not say enough great things about our stay!!! Thank you!

So noisy rooms are not sound proofed very good anytime someone is walking down the hallway talking it's loud in the room.

Likes - very convenient, easy accessible, clean.
Dislikes - room needed more soundproofing, we heard everything in the hallway, and in this day and age having tiny single-use shampoo and etc containers is totally unacceptable. Either offer nothing or have refillable containers in the bathroom.

We liked the hotel and the area. Pool was nice and exercise room was clean and modern. We did not go to the breakfast area but I did order a salad one night and it was good and affordable. Having the restaurant on site is nice. What we didn’t like was bathroom layout. No where to hang wet towels or toiletry bags. We also wished there was 24 hour coffee or tea in the reception area. We don’t care for machine coffee in the room. Cleaning service every night is now a luxury so we enjoyed that. Everyone was nice and the location is great. Even though there is a stipulation on quiet time no one seemed to pay attention and our next door neighbor had a TV blaring until 2 AM.

Our fifth family vacation to this property was our best. We love this hotel. The grounds are beautifully maintained and are exceptionally clean. It is great they brought back daily maid service which a lot of hotels have done away with since Covid. Never an issue with towels. They are available and plentiful. There are so many things to do including indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, shuffleboard, basketball, putting green, three mini golf holes corn hole and fire pits. They have free ice cream at the pool at 3 pm daily and a free happy hour on Wednesday and Saturday at 4 pm with drinks for the kids and adults and a nice tray of food. The hotel is within walking distance (or a very short drive) to the heart of Lake George and the lakefront. The only suggestion I have is they changed the breakfast at the restaurant where now it is buffet if you are over 11 years old. While the food and service is great at the restaurant, I think they should bring back the a la carte options so you don’t need to spend 18 dollars a person for breakfast especially if you only one one item such as a bagel or cereal. We will be back I’m sure many times in the future,

I loved that the property has pools and a basketball court which the kids enjoyed in between visits to the lake. Perfect for a family getaway. The rooms were so clean!!! Staff were friendly. Location is very close to shopping and dining areas.

The restaurant food and staff was excellent! Location is good but in front of busy street. This hotel is a family friendly hotel with lots of kids running around. The pool was even closed for someone who was sick in it.

No staff or carts to bring in-out heavy bags. I had to struggle 3 trips to my room in and after check-out.

Very kid friendly. I suggest the suites with a balcony and pool view rather than regular rooms with no balcony.
