Good hotel room, polite staff, downtown location.
Some lights were too bright. Could not get network TV channels, just cable.

So here are the things that matter to me when choosing a hotel
Breakfast - They have alternating days of either sausage links/egg paties or biscuits and gravy. Every day they also have cereal, oatmeal packs, bread slices, mini muffins, yogurt & a waffle maker. They offer coffee, milk, water, apple & orange juice to drink.
Staff - extremely helpful and friendly A+++
Room - Room was very clean but a little dated. Beds/pillows were above average but nothing special. 32" tv probably an original lcd, definitely older. Shower had excellent hot water but low water pressure. AC worked great. Ice box in the mini fridge needed defrosting but the fridge worked great. Internet worked well.
Pool - I didn’t use it but it was open and families were using it
Area around hotel - Bbq restaurant shares the parking lot, excellent food. Boarded up hotel next door
Overall it was a good experience, would definitely stay again. Especially considering it was only $75 per night.

Place was ok, room was clean but we noticed ants in the morning inside under the window. Breakfast was ok.

Basic, no frills, economy hotel in fair condition. Several minor issues with both the rooms we stayed in but nothing that we couldn’t look past for the two nights we were there. It met our needs but most likely would not stay there again.

If you want to stay at a dump and worry about theft for the few things you have in your car… Or if your children like the skunk smell (flower)…Or if you like finding clumps of long black hair on the bathroom floor… This place is for you! Pool is closed for the unforeseen future.

It was adequate for the very short time i was in town. Rooms were clean. Some maintenance needed (shower curtain rod very loose and some wall damage). However beds were comfortable. My son enjoyed the indoor pool. Staff was fruendly. If in town overnight i would consider staying again.

The furniture in our suite was in terrible shape. It looked like it came from a second hand shop. The bar height table was so wobbly it was difficult to use for work. I asked for a different room and that table was just as bad. I think tightening the screws would help a great deal. In my son's adjoining room, the bed cover was yellow rather than bright white. This place needs great deal of maintenance.

This was the worst hotel. Within minutes (pool closed, smell of cigarettes, run down interior, stains on walls and bedding) it was evident that what was sold to me on Expedia is not what I was buying. Their photos do not accurately portray their property. They are perpetuating fraud, and Expedia is complicit by continuing to list them as a safe option for travelers. I believe they are generating fake reviews to keep their score higher. Given the horror stories among recent posts, I don’t believe it possible they could receive 5-star ratings. Their business model is “flypaper,” they catch a sucker in their trap, get your credit card at check-in, and enforce their no cancellation policy. Expedia, please investigate this business, and don’t let them take advantage of more people.

The hallway carpet new. The building looks new. The staff are friendly. Our room is small. There was hardly any room to move around. No coffee and coffee pot.

Heard tv talking from anointing room all night! Refrigerator noise was twice average level. Had to keep bathroom door closed because toilet tank water control assembly made dripping sounds.

Nice hotel in an easy-to-access location. Close to downtown with nice views of the river. There is a great barbecue restaurant next to it. There was a large and loud party down the hall but I was far enough away that I could still rest.

Hotel room is mid…. Got a creepy someone is watching you with camera vibes and the bed is AWFUL! Soooooo uncomfortable! Jacuzzi tub in the room is nice, room is huge and great for maybe a bday party or something if you’re a local.

For a hotel that is pet friendly you did not seem to have any close and safe places for the dogs to relieve themselves. We used the gravel portion of the parking lot with cars coming in and out

Had a problem with the toilet getting stopped up in our room. Not overloaded just backed up. When we called the front desk they told my husband to come down and get the plunger and do it himself.
Rough area of town. Hotel next door was closed and was more of a rat trap and home for vagrants.

The hotel rooms need to be updated. Room was clean and comfortable. Morning breakfast was as good. For the price everything was good.

We asked for more pillows because the 3 we were given were small. When he brought new pillows the pillows did not have pillow cases on them. The AC unit made noises throughout the night even when it wasn’t running. Everything about the hotel was the cheapest quality. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at.

I stayed in a room that had an amazing panoramic view of the Mississippi river. The curtains were inoperable. All I could do was stand between the curtains and the window to enjoy the view.

The front desk staff was not friendly at all. Barely spoke to me. Didn’t thank me. Same with the employee in the breakfast area. Not friendly at all. Our room smelled so bad. Someone definitely had been smoking in it before we checked in. I have asthma and had a hard time breathing in the room. The hotel in general just didn’t seem very clean.

The room needed a lot of touch up. The AC was incredibly loud. The room felt dirty too. A fresh coat of paint, a new AC unit, and a little more intention on cleaning I would go wonders.

The sink drained very slowly. When I took a shower the drain was so slow I could have taken a bath in the water that was still in the tub when I finished.

Felt unsafe there with people randomly roaming the halls. Men trying to speak to us. Stare. People touching the kids without permission It was not good

Multiple hairs in the shower of different lengths and some curly. Area seemed very unsafe, heard multiple gun shots from blocks away and read a story the next morning about them. Was forced to park on the complete opposite side of the hotel from where my room was bc one whole side was coned off and was instructed to park behind the hotel by the attendant in the darkest part of the lot.

The view from the third floor of the Mississippi River was beautiful. However, the non-smoking room REEKED of smoke. We could not stand to do a second night and checked out, moving to a different hotel. We were not refunded any of the fees for the second night.
The hallway carpeting has been replaced. The lobby is not inviting.
The beds were made only with sheets and a thin cotton thingy. There was no blanket in the closet and we ended up sleeping under our coats.
The morning breakfast was inferior, especially for a Wyndham. Other than the apples, everything was highly processed food. The coffee was burned.
Half of the parking lot is graded gravel. Great for the environment, but confusing when arriving. My handicapped minivan bottomed out on it.
