We stairs the week at another hotel in the area that was newer but poorly constructed. For the weekend we decided to stay here. It was much more affordable and for the price the views and the service were excellent. Well the hotel was a bit dated. The place was very clean. The only reason why we gave four stars on cleanliness is because some of the floors and carpets are a bit older and appear faded and are holding some dirt. In general the bathroom and room were very clean. We definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location to MUSC, West Ashley, and James Island.
Our room had a beautiful view back toward MUSC and the city.
The desk agents were friendly and helpful.
While the rooms have been updated there needs to be better maintenance given the older nature of the property.
I would stay at this property again but I hope they’ll invest in maintenance a bit more.

Rooms were nice though a little aged with rust spots showing through the painted bottom of the tub. Pool looked great, the food was excellent and the panoramic view from the top floor restaurant was amazing.
