No coffee available in the lobby until 6:30 a.m., & not even an iced coffee you can purchase in the mini store. Limited cocktail menu. Bed was a bit hard. I had a 2 night confirmation from hotels.com which I showed them & they only showed 1. They weren't very helpful in trying to fix it. Had to call hotels.com rep to get it corrected on Hyatt's end. Frustrating.

The staff were friendly and welcoming when we arrived. It’s quiet & cozy. The room had some amenities such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner and as well as a tin can jar filled with pre-packed Q-Tips, shower cap, & makeup remover wipes. Con is only they no longer use the house phone in the room to call the front desk or housekeeping; or maybe it’s just me. I saw a sign, in the hallway by the elevator, asking you to text from your phone to them for your requests instead of calling. If that’s the case, why not just post that info in your room. Self-Parking : $40 vs Valet : $47

This property is very nice. Unfortunately, the charge for parking is quite high. I think parking should be free - or at least reasonable - given that these room are fairly costly. If you have a car, make sure to inquire about the overnight parking charges.

Older looking property on the outside. The room its self looked ok. The room smelled like it was wet. When checking out, I paid cash for valet parking $47. Then she hands me a bill for self parking at $40 and the amenities charges. I walked out before looking at it. So I had to go back and make sure the self parking was taken off…. Now why would she do that? I literally just paid for valet parking. So check your bill carefully. And WHY we are being charged for self parking is ridiculous in the first place.

I went away with my family to stay at the hotel. We had three different rooms, and everyone of us experienced the problem with the people above us making excessive noise. There’s probably suggest that the hotel is not well constructed, and we all had to complain. The hotel seem to do very little about it but they did give us a $100 rebate on the rooms as an apology. Aside from this, my advice would be do not stay in a ground floor room where there is someone above you. Otherwise, it is a very nice hotel, my only complaint is the service at breakfast on the second day was poor.

I think overall the room rate is reasonable. I had a problem with the shower which I didn't bother to let them know. Their body lotions are so hard to use. The bottles are so hard and not squeezable. But ultimately, I will be back again

This was my first stay at the Hyatt. While it was only one night, I had a very nice stay. The rooms are spacious. The beds are comfortable. Olivia at the front desk was so lovely and worked to get me a room that was best for me. My son lives very close to the Hyatt and this is where I will stay whenever I come to visit him.

The Hyatt property is beautiful with the lush flowers, trees and palm trees.. the staff is superb. Close to the ocean, shopping and fabulous restaurants. Easy access to major Hwy's

Front desk clerk was not helpful when I got there other than provide keys n a map. Not all amenities were in service, but they still charged the full resort fee. No golfing no tennis no spa.

The pool area is outdated 2 out of the 3 jacuzzis were not working and the only one working was not hot enough. Lots of hidden fees. No charging station for electric cars. I won’t be staying at this location again

Check in was great, fast, and early as requested (a Little). The Valet and luggage helpers were especially awesome!! Very responsive, courteous, and friendly!! Our room was clean and comfortable. Loved the downstairs porch.

Hidden resort cost after I have already paid for my reservation through Expedia. Noisy, room service was not done daily, the drainage system in bathroom and sink was plugged and trickling. The towels were 100 year old rough, filthy, and scruffy. It was rip off for cost.

Our particular room, Bay 417, had a mildrew order in the closet. We got a 2nd floor room, initially, no realizing there were NO elevators. My wife had reasonly had knee replace surgery. We were able to change rooms, only to be given another room that required climbing stairs equal to walking up stairs to the 2nd floor to return to the restaurant and registration. Not handicap friendly. We were there to see The Dave Koz Concert, 9/15, only to be unable to see the stage from our seats, Row M, Seats 17/19. Somes row are on the same level, like theater seating. Overall POOR EXPERIENCE.

For the price of this hotel, it needs some upgrades. I noticed in the bathroom hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. The balcony was full of spider webs and the patio furniture was so dirty we had to clean the tables and chairs before enjoying the balcony. Also, I didn't realize how big this location was and its more of a family hotel. It was very busy with a lot of kids running around and I was woken up at 6:30am by the kids in the adjacent room yelling and slamming the room door.

Great pool & friendly staff. High end service with much safer feel than surrounding beach front properties. Felt a little annoyed at all the add on fees... resort fee, parking fee, a couple others. Just put it in the rate. Great first impression & great stay. Bad last impression with the many extra fees at checkout.

We were very disappointed with our stay, given the brand of Hyatt Regency Resort. The property is run down and smells. We were initially given a room behind a stair wall. The patio was more like a ledge and there was garbage on the perimeter. The staff was fine. They were understanding, but there was no sense of "care". I told the front desk the Elevator has inspection certificate over 4 years beyond expiration. The response was it was inspected in March and they haven't posted it yet. The place needs a renovation. Also, paying $40 for self parking that is a 5 min walk is not justified.

Location and drive up looks appealing. The issue is when you go into the hotel itself - the lobby has a bar and sitting areas but lacks warmth and service, the pool(s) are dingy and, although they offer towel service and a bar, the staff is not at all interested in offering more than the least amount of interaction/service (def not worth the added resort fee). Lastly, the rooms are in need of updating and the noise from above and the hallways doesn't allow for much of a quiet getaway. This hotel has great potential, but in its current state is definitely not worth the price tag. You're better off either saving the extra $ & staying at a run-of-the-mill place near the airport, or splurging on one of the beautiful properties on PCA.
