This is Genetti's Best Western Plus...Genetti's has been around for quite a long time and this is an older hotel but clean and well run...my only regret is that I didn't eat at the restaurant...prices on seafood and steak were so fabulous but I just didn't have time for a sit down dinner in the evening.The free buffet breakfast in the morning 6-9 (10 on weekends) really started my day off nicely. The hotel is 1/2 a block from the Martz Bus station too, so. that worked out great.

Hotel was okay. Desk clerk was rude to the old man in front of me then rude with me. He's lucky I was here to laugh and see stand up comedy next door.

Went to see Louis Black at Kirby Center. First time staying here, and we WILL be returning to this hotel. Ask for 2 rooms to be close together and for the first time a hotel listened and I didn't have to ask twice. So close and convenient to the Kirby Center. And at an EXCELLENT price!! Beautiful rooms!!!

Staff were all welcoming, easy to park & gentleman at front desk was helpful.
Room was very old. Heating unit was turned off, so walked into a cold room! Opened flap to put heat on & flap just flew off, was not attached. No view. Popcorn ceiling. Very old worn carpet. TV station menu was completely wrong. Walls were paper think so heard entire conversations or listened to TV shows.
Bed was one comfortable & good thing. Very clean, comfortable mattress & pillows.
Breakfast was good. Chef was very friendly & food was good. Decor in the room was extremely dated though! Reminded me of the dining room of the titanic! lol
Great location & close to everything.
Despite the old decor I may consider coming again.

Perfect location if you are visiting downtown or attending events at the Kirby Center. Check-in was fast, easy, and professional, and we felt safe at all times. It is an older hotel, however, and we had trouble with the tv, the room heater was extremely noisy, and there were some broken things: tp dispenser in bathroom, bathroom overhead heat lamp, some of the gym equipment, one of the elevators, push bar on hotel side exit door, etc. Breakfast had many options but quality was lacking. In spite of this we would stay there again because the location and staff were great.

From start to finish the stay was amazing. We were met with warmth and friendliness when checking in. We were given suggestions for places to eat or visit during our stay. The check in process was quick and easy and parking was great. The breakfast was one of the best I've had and the workers were helpful and very friendly. Overall, I would definitely visit again!

Staff was pleasant and attentive, great place to stay for concert. Walked everywhere. The hotel itself very dated. Needs updating. Appreciate the parking lot . Have to say the dining room for breakfast was very uncomfortable the dated decor and seating arrangements were weird and not well lit. I rarely make these kind of reviews just think with updating can be a great place.

I can't say so much about my experience except that everything was great and the staff was so pleasurable and nice. The rooms were so clean and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone.

Limited staff at front desk. At check-in I was told that there is no in-room service…that new towels, etc. are only available upon request by calling the front desk. Flashing sign was annoying even with dark curtains pulled. No indoor pull. Positive: complimentary/safe parking, above average complimentary breakfast buffet with friendly staff. Dated, yet adequate accommodations..great location in Wilkes Barre.

The room was small , the beds were hard & not comfortable. The binder in room had a room service menu from the restaurant that closed in Dec. 2022, this was Oct. 2023. The closed restaurant still had sign on entrance road. There is no house keeping, just lay your towels outside room in morning & they will replace, sometimes.

The gentleman checking us in was so helpful, informative and friendly. Chef Tony at breakfast was great!! Very warm and inviting! At check out the woman was very upbeat and friendly. Most definitely will stay there again!!

Conveniently located and affordable. The full hot breakfast exceeded expectations compared to other hotels in the same price range. Friendly staff, too. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town for a show at the Kirby Center!

We went to a concert at the Kirby center. It’s a very close walk. The hotel is older but well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant on premise. Service and food were excellent. Close to king’s college and the public square.

Breakfast was great, had my dog check in for just $20 a night. They even gave me a room with a King bed for the same price it was booked. Very clean, good AC. Rooms nice and cozy.
