The staff is super friendly on the phone when we confirmed the day of arrival, they even let us check in at 1:30. Everything was clean the breakfast was great. We had an amazing view and we’re close to so many different restaurants downtown.. Amazing ocean view. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel

This short get-away to the beach was wonderful! Clean king bed suite with balcony overlooking the boardwalk & ocean were just what we needed. Enjoyed the free breakfast and hot tub. All staff was friendly, kind and helpful.

My family drove down from Maryland and stayed here for spring break for a week. The breakfast was great each morning but the coffee wasnt great. They also have staff actively checking on you and collecting your plates as you finish. My wife wanted sausage instead of the bacon offered. She jokingly mentioned it to the staff and they had sausage made and brought to our table. I found out later this is a family owned hotel which gave the personal touch. (I spoke to one of the family members as she was walking around checking on guest during breakfast. She also mentioned if we stay again to call them directly because they offer a huge return guest discount far less then hotel.com (sorry hotel.com..lol)The view from the room was great. Family of three didn’t feel cramped. My son used the living room as his play area and we didn’t feel cramped as there is a superset bedroom. This also allowed us to let him sleep while watching tv in the opposite room. The only odd thing was the door opens into the bedroom. This is because the balcony faces the beach. After one day you don’t notice anymore. Each room is a ocean view so you win no matter your location. The pool is heated and has a hot tub. The pool isn’t large but 4 families used it at the same time but didn’t feel crowded.we will definitely stay again in the off season. And the garage has ample parking but height limit is 6’8. We had to take it slow in our Nissan armada.

We were there for a short 1 night stay with our grandsons. The room (2 bedrooms) was clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Our grandsons enjoyed the indoor pool and the location was convenient to restaurants and activities. We already have reservations to return in June.

It was great! Smells clean as soon as you enter the lobby. Room was clean and well stocked, my wife even looked under the bed.

We really enjoyed our stay. This room was the cleanest room I probably have stayed at in a hotel! Maribel was wonderful and my son absolutely loved her! She deserves a raise for sure! She is a gem at this hotel!

Really large room, with a door separating the bedroom areas. 2 plastic chairs and a table for the balcony overlooking the beach. Great beach access, right in the middle of the boardwalk, easy walk to everything. Great location and space.

They were very courteous at check in, knowledgeable, the hotel was older, but well maintained. Very great view of the ocean. We got everything that was promised in the booking.

We arrived early on a rainy Friday afternoon and had the pool and hot tub (4 person max) to ourselves. It was a nice way to start our weekend. Our room was super clean and we had plenty of space in our suite. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot and had amazing pressure. The service and staff friendliness were the best Ive experienced in a very long time! Breakfast was hot and there were plenty of options. I will never get tired of waking up to the sunrises at the beach!!

My wife is a clean freak. OCD level. She was exceedingly pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom and the bedding. I was exceedingly pleased as a result. Breakfast was an added bonus.

Wonderful, more than I imagined, provided everything we needed because my family enjoyed our stay, the only reason for taking one star from your hotel, Coastal which it only contain checking out, the front desk lady was rude and the rolling of the eyes is so childish, I'm hoping it's not racist cause we love our stay, everyone was kind and leaving your establishment should have ended in that way but I will definitely come back, she will not hold me back

The breakfast staff is so nice, going above and beyond to be welcoming and kind. The housekeepers and front desk were great, as well. This is the most convenient hotel we have stayed at in VA Beach, but it was the warmness of the staff that will have us come back again.

Quick overnight trip and the hotel staff was helpful, rooms were clean and lovely (loved the nice shower heads good surprise and better than home), and we had a lot of fun overall. Will book again next time at same place.

Great family stay of adults! Rooms were great, clean and lots of room! The double king rooms were perfect for 2 couples. Staff was nice and breakfast area was plenty big and lots of staff on hand!

The breakfast bar was excellent The staff that served you at the breakfast buffet were beyond nice. I love the fact there was two separate rooms with two separate TVs in the room. I felt like I could have some privacy, but still had the comfort of having a friend. The view was beautiful. And the boardwalk was extremely clean and I felt very safe.

The location was excellent with a marvelous view of the ocean. Nothing to really complain about other than the heating system that cycles on and off but that is the way it is with older hotels.

All the staff were very friendly and so accommodating. The place was immaculate. The complimentary breakfast was very good and and very clean. Christi at the front desk was super nice. I will definitely be back and the views are amazing:)
