It was ok. Small details make a difference tho . We were not given enough hand towels when we arrived. The shower was hard to turn off properly. The toilet tissue is so thin and cheap. There is no shower gel provided $30 resort fee is so much for nothing at this time of year when you can’t use the pool . Staff are wonderful , always . Great location for shopping, walking, restaurants, the water, Fenway ….

The doors are obnoxiously loud when closing so I heard everyone's door close from my surrounding vicinity. I also had a room that had a door that could connect two rooms and because of that, I could hear everything happening in the other room, even simple conversation. The person sneezed and it sounded like it was in my room. Needless to say, earplugs were essential to get any sleep.

I very much enjoyed my stay in Boston. I was in town for a work conference and needed a hotel that close by. So glad I stayed at The Colonnade. I will return and recommend to others. The cute rubber duck was a nice touch!

Great hotel! Nice floor-to-ceiling windows in this early 1970s (mid-century) hotel, which has recently been refurbished on the inside. Nice interior decor. Would stay here again.

Stunning hotel, comfortable beds, in room coffee, fridge, and bottled water. Excellent service. Restaurant a little on the pricy side but the food was very good. Great location.

This is a really nice property but loud. I could hear the conversation of the people in the room next to mine. Can hear everything in the hallway. But the rooms are well kept and it is well located.

The hotel location and staff cannot be beat. I was a bit disappointed that my room was only serviced twice for a 5 night stay. Two consecutive days if no refresh.

We had a wonderful stay. It started off with the great service we received from Aurora at check in. After a very long flight delay she made the check in so easy and quick for us. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Boston.

Good place to stay in winter as it's adjacent to Prudential/Copley indoor malls--room to walk inside in cold weather. Room service was good, beds very comfortable. Our tv wifi was out of service, wifi spotty. Hotel waived fee. Bathroom updated but had a bit of mold behind sink and in shower. Water pressure good. Coffee maker, mini fridge were convenient. Coffee maker could use an update. Overall relatively quiet and easy with a family. Good location.

Cons: Rooms not very private as doors to rooms are thin and you can see light thru them, no key card access for elevators so did not feel very safe, found someone elses makeup pallet in bathroom , provided only 1 wash rag for 4 night stay, had room that one entire wall is a window and it's so cold can't keep drapes open, chrome cast didn't work the entire time even though they tried to fix twice, broken lamp by desk, awkward room setup TV not at end of bed, shower pressure and shower head not adjustable and so strong it hurts your skin and creates a wind as you shower, needs updates and no in room recycling. Pros. Friendly staff, coffee in room with sugar and liquid creamer and comfortable bed. Will not stay here again.

The Hotel was great as always. It was clean and the rooms spectacular. But the Restaurant Lucie was terrible. The wait staff were the worst I have seen in my life. I could not believe the poor service nor their condescending attitude toward me and my family. I will never stay there again because of it.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Room service was prompt and delicious. My issue is with the room temp and the front desk service. When I arrived, the room was absolutely stifling. There was no way I could comfortably sleep in it. The thermostat wasn’t allowing cooler air to come in, so I called the front desk to ask for a fan and was told “no” but that they’d send up an engineer. The engineer was the most helpful person. He opened the windows and brought me a fan. It is ridiculous that at a four star hotel, I wasn’t able to control the room temp. If you’re temp sensitive, beware.

Forgot the name of the woman who checked us in, same woman who checked us out. Upon check out there was another woman at the counter who ignored us, the woman who helped us at check in and out was lovely. There was also a gentleman who was stationed in the lobby, he took the time to show us around. He was an older man and lovely.

Nice hotel with great ambiance. We loved the restaurant and bar. Green line and hop on / hop off trolley just outside the door. The staff were friendly and helpful.

From the moment we entered the staff were super friendly and attentive! Front desk, to the doorman to housekeeping - excellent service from all!! Our rooms were clean and quiet and comfy! Great location in the Back Bay! We will definitely stay at The Colonnade again! A special shout out and thank you to the lady in housekeeping for room 604!!! She rocked! I am just bummed I did not get her name! Thank you Colonnade for a great stay!

We had a very thoughtful check in and check out services, thanks to wonderful receptionists! Our room was clean and minimalist with white and beige decor. At first, the room heater was loud, but we just changed its setting to a lower temperature and a lower fan setting.

Filthy entrance all the way into rooms. Doorman did nothing to help with door or bags. Front desk crew cared little for customer questions or concerns. Gym closed…yet no one working on it. Colonnade is a less than mediocre facility. Never again.
