We are locals and love to take a staycation here. It’s the last family owned hotel in Pompano Beach and we love to support that. Great food at the restaurant nice quiet, private beach.

I found the hotel to be great!! Much bigger room than I expected the view was great. Beds very comfortable. All the staff was very helpful and professional, and the valets for car were excellent.
Food at the restaurant was very good as well.

The hotel was beautiful. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Every single person that we interacted with had a very nice demeanor. The food was amazing, every dish that we had whether it was breakfast or dinner was fresh and delicious. I highly highly highly recommend.

We have vacationed in FL many times, but had never stayed at Pompano Beach. We were impressed. The Beachcomber was a great place to stay. Great room, great view from the balcony, close to great restaurants and the pier. We will go there again.

Great location and amenities. Very friendly and professional. No gym and $18/parking fee was a disappointment, considering valet is the same. Beach 🏝️ was gorgeous and the restaurant facing it was great.

Beautiful hotel , great staff , very clean. Third visit to Beachcomber. Only problem this year was maintenance doing drilling for hours each day outside pool area. Guests should have been notified beforehand and given something ( completely drinks, discounted rooms) for putting up with noise and inconvenience.

Overall we love the Beachcomber. However, we probably had the worst room here (202). We were right next to staff offices or storage and staff were very loud starting at 7am. Our view from balcony was almost totally obstructed by a tiki roof.

The grounds are lovely and the food was exceptional, unexpectedly so for most resorts we stay at. We would come back just for the restaurant and beach location. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are long in the tooth and dated and the hotel is somewhat of an echo chamber with all the noise in the hallway carrying. However, the balcony was lovely and the pool was very inviting. The room towels were especially scratchy.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and spacious. Exactly what the pictures look online. The service and staff was exceptional. It was our first time and we will def come back!

I have been to Beachcomber Resort for many years. As it has everywhere, the prices have gone up an awful lot. Beachcomber resort is trying to palm itself off as a luxurious hotel with the exorbitant prices, but it definitely is not. At least they finally updated the rooms, but most of the rooms have a connecting door. And one night at 12:15 to 1:45 in the morning, the people next-door were making a ruckus: shouting, talking loudly, singing, yelping, and I called the front desk and security at least five times, and the security came up, but the noise continued. I heard that after calling three times, the police can be called, and they were not, and the resort did not compensate me at all for this inconvenience

My daughter and I spent a "long weekend" at this resort - Thursday afternoon to Monday morning.
We loved the beach service, from the chairs/umbrella setups, to the bar/food service at the beach or pools.
Happy hour was fun and the live music every day was very enjoyable.
We booked an ocean front room with a beautiful view on the large balcony with reclining chairs.
We will definitely consider the Beachcomber should we be in the area again.

Being the resort is right on the beach was great. The grounds were pretty well maintained. The two pools were a plus. The bedroom part of our room was okay, and the bed was very comfortable, however the entryway where there is a sink and coffee maker could be spruced up a bit, especially with the lighting. Also, the bathroom is in need of an update. There was limited vanity space and places to put towels.

Great staff. Not a friendly place for smokers. No bench to sit on in the only two smoking spots out front. No smoking even on thier beach area.

Great resort right on the beach. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful, Loved having a good restaurant and bar on site. We were only there 3 nights and ate at the hotel most of the time. I would have liked a bit more variety to the menu (the dinner and lunch menu are the same). Overall we would definitely return.

Need a hot tub and gymn area...Fees and constant needing to tip a valet. Parking was bad. Food portions small. Bathroom wasnt that clean while shower wall was peeling. Overpriced stay.

Beautiful ocean front balcony, just steps away from the beach. Nice restaurant & bar. Restaurant & bar personal were wonderful. The beach staff was also friendly & couldn’t do enough to make sure you were taken care of.
The people at the front desk did their jobs but did not have good customer service skills. Perhaps a little training is needed.

Even though they say it's updated rooms are old . The bathroom / closet area made no sense . Was very hot in that area of room . Hall and elevator was old and dingy .

The hallways are extremely noisy, the mattress we slept on sagged really bad and could use some updates. We considered on asking for a room change, but didn’t.
Overall, the facility is good for the price. You have two restaurants to choose from with live music on the weekends. Also, the beach is just steps away.

The resort was in a nice location with many places that were walkable or easy to get an Uber to and from where you wanted to go. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in great shape for its age. The bathrooms need to be updated, as well as the beach chairs. Restaurant was a bit pricey.

I prefer the Beachcomber before the updates. The tiki bar is missed. The food was better before (Mahi-Mahi was more like a fish stick.) The old balcony furniture was 10x more comfortable than the cheap replacements. They should have spent money on sound-proofing rooms. You can hear every word or sound from your neighbors. Very overpriced for what your getting. My wife and I were so excited to come visit after the update but failed our expectations. We will explore other options on the next visit to the area.
