Staff was helpful and hotel was fine. And it was clean.
It's a bit of a run down bldg. And it is expensive because it is in Juneau but it is right downtown. We had a room on the back and it was quiet. We were there for a short night before an early morning flight. The staff reserved a taxi for us for 5:30 am. The taxi did not arrive and the morning staff for since that they'd had problems with this taxi company. We had no problem getting a Lyft. The nighttime staff person thought maybe a taxi reservation would be better since it was such an early morning ride. But that didn't pan out. There was also quite a bit of a security line at the airport. We waited half an hour to get through the TSA PreCheck line. But that's not the hotel's problem; they were fine.

The room was hot as heat couldn’t be brought down. The front desk person told me that maintenance tech would come and have a look. It wasn’t fixed so had the fan on all night, would have preferred to open the window but couldn’t do so because of mosquitoes.

A very good option for downtown Juneau. Classic old-town feel. No air conditioning in the rooms except for a fan but I understand, AC days only happen a few times per year. Quiet and clean room.
