This hotel has an old school vibe with the decor but it is really nice and really clean! The reception area is small but has free coffee and cocoa, a cute little happy hour, and friendly staff. I have stayed twice now and each time has been lovely. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are too. The only negative is the small parking lot bcuz I have a big car but other than that, I highly recommend!!

A wonderful quiet boutique establishment that feels more upscale than the price might suggest. Cozy accommodations with plenty of space, very comfortable cloud-like beds, quality furniture and fixtures, and nicely decorated with a stylish mid-modern motif. The staff are all very professional, and polite. The building is mixed motel/hotel sort of layout with most rooms opening to an outdoor walkway, and the rest of the rooms, the only ones with patios, are in a more traditional hotel building seemingly annexed to the rest of the building with an outdoor social space. Best I think for solo travelers or certainly for couples with a happy hour social each evening to meet other guests. Not so much for the kids id say but not unfriendly to children. Overall it’s a steal at the price for how nice the place feels.

Beautiful and quaint. Comfortable beds. Meticulously maintained. I live out in the country with total peace and quiet. A little traffic noise but travel with my Bluetooth speaker which plays a gentle rain. Nighted over for a connecting flight. Will definitely stay again and longer next time.

Super fun decor and nice to stay in a unique place that’s not one of the cookie cutter chains. Customer service was amazing with texts providing information and assistance. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great experience, neat and clean..next to the BART station and good eats including dumpling places, In and Out burger...very conveniently located..one BART stop away from SFO. Highly recommended! Thankyou!

The hotel was great for what we needed. House keeping was very good with fresh towels and sheet change when needed. There is no breakfast included but there is a discount given at a local diner. When the Wind changed direction the Planes from SFO flew directly overhead and the Noise from the planes was startling. There is a train station directly in back of the hotel with just enough sound to lull you to sleep. I enjoyed my stay very much ensure you check your room out thoroughly as mine had a leak with wet carpet near the window.

The room was nicely done, modern, clean The front desk was really nice and helpful. There was a machine for coffee and hot chocolate in the small lobby. Note that the lobby closed at 10:30 at night. There is a small outside sitting area with a fountain. 2 negatives: The bedside USB was not working. Parking is a challenge because most spaces are for compact cars and many cars were bigger.

Very friendly staff during check in. Great pillows and mattress made it a very comfortable stay. Very close to the airport made it very convenient to fly out the next day. It was a little noisy being so close but for the price this place was a great value.

We had a great one night stay before taking our son to the airport. The location couldn't have been better with only a short drive to SFO. There's plenty of dining options around the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The beds were extremely comfortable and they provide complimentary hot chocolate and coffee. They even provide a reusable water bottle for water. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at the Dylan many times and this was not as good as usual. There was no on site parking risking a ticket since there was only 4 hr street parking. To get the TV to work, you now have to go through a series of apps which is a real pain.

The hotel located in a safe area where we could walk around at night. The BART and Caltrain station is just 300 m away. Nice and helpful staff. Reasonable price for the room.

We selected this hotel off of reviews and the overall look. Mind you this is a motel. You walk out of your room right into the outside. It’s loud, the pillows and bed are horribly uncomfortable. Just a vastly over priced motel.

During my stay on Dec 19, hot water supply for the hotel was down and still wasn't fixed in the next morning. It was terrible to not be able to shower for the entire stay. The hotel only issued a refund of $20 two weeks after the stay.

Nicely renovated and good service. Nice touch to have nostalgic vinyl records and a working player in the room. As for the stay….you can hear when someone walks or talks loud in the room above. For my case the noice presence was well into the night and throughout the morning (someone walking mostly, maybe maid cleaning early in the morning). If you’re a light sleeper, be minded the Caltrain train track is one block away.

Staff is great and solicitous. Motel itself is sort of deco. It’s quiet. Lots of places to dine in the neighborhood along with a CVS close by. Coffee in the lobby is quite good. Definitely would come back.

Property location was not ideal it’s too far away from anything but the airport. This is not your average hotel it’s more of like a motel. Bathrooms are small, no tub. Record player in room was a nice touch or would have been since ours was broken. This is a Motel not hotel, with most of the rooms outside access only, no free breakfast, lobby is tiny with only one front desk associate. I felt a little mislead with the pictures and for the cost I don’t think it was worth what I paid. Wish I could have stayed at a Chain Hotel after all

This was my second stay at the Dylan and while I enjoyed my first, I likely won’t stay there again. My room smelled of mold throughout and it was very noisy. I was at the whim of the upstairs neighbor who probably wasn’t stomping but his footsteps were extremely loud. I could also hear from the room next door. The bed wasn’t very comfortable with a sagging middle. The heater was very loud, although it did help drown out the sounds from upstairs some. There was hair in the shower but the biggest issue was definitely the smell. I cut my trip short and come home a day early. Bummer overall.
