Very clean. Very kind front desk staff. Very helpful when we had a noise issue. Offered complimentary breakfast for a 4 am shuttle. Highly recommend.

Great stay… we chose the corner room which is a bit larger and we loved it. We loved the window views! And the bathroom was very clean and spacious

Well run, clean, friendly staff, spacious rooms, and perfect for a layover. Shuttle to the airport and good breakfast (omelette/toast/oatmeal/coffee/juice/hot chocolate/cereal). Great value for price.

My stay at this hospital is always amazing. The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean. The Breakfast is a winner. Only thing is the cable Direct TV skips and buffers while watching a movie. Other than that everything else is great. I do recommend this Hotel to others!!!!

I tried to shower in the morning, but there was no warm water. I waited for over an hour, but ended up leaving without being able to shower. Moreover, the hotel manager was unfriendly.

I was tired and ready to spread out when I arrived. I was greeted with a friendly face and offered a complimentary glass of wine ( or bottled water). I gratefully accepted the wine and had a nice nightcap before falling into bed! Although the hotel is on a busy street, the windows kept most of the noise to a quiet hum. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a log!

The sheets had drop stains on them and they had the appearance of blood , could’ve been ketchup but wasn’t taking any chance . This ruined the ability to relax even though they changed them out .

This was my third time staying here and I’ve been satisfied every time. The staff is wonderful, rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, and location is great. List goes on. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I’m beyond appreciative

We were waiting for the shuttle transfer from SFO airport at 10:01pm. The 10:20pm classic van picked us up after 10:45pm. And we arrived at 11:08pm. The desk persons would not open the manual doors while we had to drag 4 luggage among 2 of us. But their attitude was friendly and our frustration soon disappeared. It looks like an Indian family owns the business converting previously known as Days Inn. The room has a tall ceiling and newish fittings but the thermostat is out of service. But temperature was 55°F and it was not cold inside. The moving large desk table was very helpful for our use. And, the room lighting was adequate for its class. The included breakfast was already available before 6am. And, cheese and egg omelets are prepped ahead of time and the rest of the oatmeals, yogurt, juices, toast, and apples are all of the good standard. The shuttle drivers of both night and 7:05am are cordial even some Chinese passengers were rude and abusive. The overall experience of ours do match the previous reviewers. I would come back to the friendly operation and the good upkeeps. Better experiences than Aloft or Westin we had stayed in SFO area.

Shuttle from SFO airport to Hotel 1550 only runs on the hour. I just missed it and had to pay a $25 taxi fare for a ride of less than 10 minutes. The room I was given had extremely audible traffic noise all night long. When I asked for another room I was told all the rooms that were left were on the same side of the building facing the onslought of continuous traffic. This was an awful experience after a 6 hour flight from the East Coast!!!!

The pluses are this is close to the airport with a complimentary shuttle. It's relatively inexpensive, and generally parking is not an issue as most guests seem to be on tours coming or leaving on a tour bus. The downside is rooms that need maintenace, bathrooms are not well lit, soap is what you get at a gas station dispenser, and breakfast is only if you are desperate.

Very nice hotel, seems to be newly updated. Bed comfortable, only drawback was the street noise. I’m sure the rooms at the back of the hotel would have less. All in all a very good stay

Hotel facilities and amenities good. However our room was not clean - there was still a ball of hair from a previous guest in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was limited. Overall useful if staying one night but would not stay more and will not stay again.

It was super convenient for needing a night's sleep close to the airport! The front desk staff member was friendly and thorough. The free breakfast was great, with omelettes, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit, juices, etc. And the free airport shuttle service was a bonus!
