Updated, historic hotel, close to the city center, Excellent staff, comfortable clean and comfortable rooms with a nice bathroom. Great breakfast buffet - however, quite a few external guests came to the hotel for breakfast on the Holidays, so reservations of a table for “peak breakfast times” is recommended. The restaurant also offers very good, contemporary German cuisine Regarding transport to the airport in Munich the hotel works with an external, local car company - however, reserve for a pick up from the hotel with a good margin as today (still a Holiday in Germany) there was quite a delay regarding the pick up.

An incredible hotel. We had one day and night in Augsburg and Hotel Maximillian's and wish we had more. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and it was perfect for us.

This is a delightful hotel where the rooms are spacious, the staff and friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and meals are amazing - definitely worth the pre-purchase. The hotel is in the most fashionable part of Augsberg.

Third time we’ve stayed here and never disappointed. Extremely pet friendly, helpful staff with restaurant reservations, outstanding breakfast, and knowledge of the city.

Great location and generally nice rooms, but maintenance has suffered over the past 2 years. In our last room, the sliding door to the bathroom could be closed at most halfway. How this went unnoticed is a mystery.

We really appreciated the staff’s treatment of our dog when we checked in. They provided a welcome bag with doggy treats, doggy bags, and a door tag telling the staff that there was a dog in the room if we had to leave her which we fortunately did not have to do at any time during our stay. The daily additional pet fee was 19 Euros per day which would eventually get expensive for longer stays.

Stylish hotel on Augsburg’s impressive Maximillian Street. Large public areas hung with impressive art. Our room was well appointed but with very little natural light. Parking expensive.

The heated floor in bathroom didn’t work. The dial was broken. The room was hot. Even with window open we were roasting. However, with room directly over the doors to the bar, it was noisy way beyond midnight, thus didn’t want windows open. Finally, after asking for a fan, we were comfortable. But, the room was small & we stumbled over the fan. Thus, the fan was not ideal. Perhaps down comforters less thick would be better, or AC?

Well maintaIned rooms, the doubles a decent size. Friendly reception staff. No City view in the rooms (though sold as such) but quiet. A small lounge area off reception. Didn’t try the breakfast. Nice alternatives a short walk away

From Holland did I travel far, eight hours sitting in the car. Drei Mohren it must be tonight, The ratings make this place sound right. Alas, instead of late night ointment Comes a piece of disappointment The highest rated place in town Can merely bring me to a frown. Just public parking for the car My limp makes that a little far. Instead of Internet connection Their Wifi shows to me rejection. Something little late to dine And deservedly a glass of wine? "Room service is bereft, and our staff has all but left. We can serve a drink, just one, and then the bar is also done". So I leave, a bit deflated. Could this place be overrated?

Staff was not friendly or helpful. Bathrooms were filthy. Lighting in the guest bathroom is very dark. We had problems with our rental car and had to wait 5 hours in the hotel lobby. No one until hour #5 asked me if I needed anything. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in Augsburg. Too bad because it is a beautiful hotel.

Their service level was superb. I needed to modify my computer system demo for my work urgently and, unfortunately, I didn't bring keyboard and mouse with me. Hotel staff removed keyboard and mouse from their front desk system and allowed me to use them in my room. They also let me use HIDM cable from hotel conference room so that I can use TV in my room as a computer monitor. They saved my day!

this hotel has an excellent restaurant where I had a superb steak for lunch the staff were obliging and took my bags to my room while I returned the hire car It is close to the centre of town and has a taxi rank right outside the door Recommended

Though it’s not obvious from its profile on Expedia, this hotel is right on the Main Street of the town. It’s in fairly close walking distance to many Augsburg sights. It is beautiful inside, with spacious, clean, and nicely decorated rooms. And the reception let me check in early (noon) to leave my bags!
