The room was very noisy, but I was appreciative of the location and price point. What was unacceptable is that the hotel mandates—yes, mandates—that housekeeping enter your room every day. While staying there, I was working in my hotel room and on conference calls, when housekeeping tried entering the room at 3pm. (I keep the lock on when I’m in the room as a safety precaution.). When they couldn’t enter, the front office called and called. (I was in conference calls.) when I returned the call to the front desk, they required I leave the room so housekeeping could enter and do service. When I informed them I didn’t need service, they said that I agreed to them entering the room every day when I checked in, and hat I had to leave the room while housekeeping was there. After my calls ended around 4pm, I let housekeeping in to do their service. I got a copy of the terms and conditions at the front desk, and (in very small print), it notes that the hotel WILL enter the room every day, and that the hotel is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISSING ITEMS. Glad I took my valuables with me when I let housekeeping in… I have never had such an experience, and I intend to tell this story repeatedly until this policy is rectified.

Family friendly, shops & entertainment in walking distance. Easy access to 405 freeway, and a straight shot to the beach. They even have a dog park for your fur babies. I appreciated how clean and attentive the maids were. I highly recommend this location.

This place is a hidden gem located convienently next to the 405 fwy giving you a clear path to San Diego to your South and Los Angeles to your North. I am already looking forward to our next stay! S/O to the young lady at the front desk Nora. I wish there were more of you out there. You are AWESOME!

Beyond perfect for when your on a budget. I got a spacious 1 bedroom suite for a low the price of a regular room and I could have upgraded to an even bigger one from for like less than $20 more. This is the cleanest motel 6 I have ever stayed at, and the people here are so nice. Definitely coming back with my family and I recommend to all.

Always a safe, clean place to stay. Management runs an amazing team. Everyone here is so friendly, and make you feel so welcome. Rooms are cleaned daily, and they even have a dog park! Awesomeness! Next door there is a roller skating center, and its so much fun for the kids and the best music/ experience for adults at night. We had a blast! Thank you motel 6 Fountain Valley we will be back!!

Staying here was average …However, didn’t like the fact that even though I was staying multiple nights in a row, it was still mandatory for housekeeping to enter and clean the room on a daily basis…I would be very active with Zoom calls the first half of the day which made things very awkward on these calls. Is it that important for housekeeping to enter every day? Personally, I really do not think so. You might want to reconsider doing this for the guest’s sake…

Freeway approx 10ft from back window. Super noisy. They should wall off the back window and have none instead. Room smelled a bit like cat urine. Vending machine prices ridiculously high. Gas stations etc near but require crossing main roadways.

The motel was about as expected. Clean, affordable and convenient. The service, however, was not great. Usually Motel 6 staff is exceptional. But we felt like an inconvenience to them and when we needed more pillows, we were refused. Not our usual experience with this company. Maybe just this location.

I had a handicap room. Very clean and stocked well. Checking in was very well handled by a very friendly young Lady. CON'S If you were in a wheelchair there is nowhere to put your soap or shampoo. The shower head was great, but instead of the usual adjustable hand-held shower head, it was mounted directly on the wall. I would have had to stand up to get a decent shower. Also if you were in a wheelchair, the sink was in a narrow alcove that made it very tight. All in all, I would give this three stars just because of the bathroom.

I stay at this Motel 6 every time I come to this area. It is central to every place I need to go during my visits and there are lots of restaurants and stores close by. The maids come every day, which is annoying, but at least there are always fresh towels and other supplies. I love the suites, which always include a refrigerator and microwave. The freeway is very noisy, but I lived along this same freeway for many years, so the noise doesn’t bother me too much. Since the last time I visited, they filled in the pool and put in a fenced pet area. This is either good or bad, depending on what you prefer. I’ll stay here again.

I like how the rooms were clean. Best Motel 6 I ever stayed in. Close to where I needed to be. I would stay here again without hesitation. There was nothing I didn't like about the Motel.

Staff was very kind, the overall property was clean and had a nice dog area with turf which is a plus to those traveling with their pets! The only negative thing is that since it is next to the freeway it is a bit noisy but that was to be expected.
