Nice, comfortable and clean place to stay in the nice Leucadia location for a bargain price. The hallway carpeting gives kind of a poor impression but once you get into the room it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is a gem of a place. Room was comfortable and clean, but the most outstanding part was the staff. Checking in and out was effortless and I was greeted with a friendly smile and courtesy. I will definitely stay here next time I’m down in the SoCal area!

I generally stay at budget hotels in this area. Brisa was a pleasant change from so many of the poorly managed motels in the Carlsbad area. If Brisa was more competitive in price, I would stay there all the time.

I would first like to say that the rooms were extremely nice, like Holiday Inn nice. Super clean, amazing shower, amazing beds. But that isn’t even the best part of my experience. I lost my wallet on this road trip, a man found my wallet with the hotel key inside. He called the hotel and told them. The hotel then contacted me and gave me the man’s number so that I could retrieve my wallet. The service at this hotel is so great that they went beyond their required duties to help me track down my belongings which weren’t even misplaced on the property. Very cozy, heartwarming stay.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Very quaint small town feel. A little old but we noticed renovations occurring so might be better next time. Great employees that are very attentive and friendly.

Weekend stay. Close to the beach and beautiful views. Close to Encinitas Blvd shops and eateries. Small but good for a budget trip to SD. They give coffee and orange juice in the mornings, as well as pastries and fruit. They don't include shampoo or lots of toiletries but we had our own so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall good experience.

This was a good place. Basic, but fairly clean. The breakfast was only small danishes, coffee, juice, apples. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. There's a train across the street that blows through quite regularly during the day, but didnt bother us at night. The besuty of this hotel is the short walk to the Stonr Steps leading to the beach. It was great to watch the breakers!

We were there for an overnight stay. Checkin was for 3 pm but we were supposed to be at an event at 3 so I called a few days before and asked for an early check in. They made that happen and even called me when the room was available. The gal at the front desk was very nice!

I really like that there was no problem at check-in. Continental breakfast was decent. I stayed here for a week with no issues, disturbances. Beach was within walking distance. I really liked my room. Management was really nice.

My stay at Brisa Pacifica Hotel was a blend of convenience and minor discomforts. Its proximity to a railway track initially caused concern, but thankfully, the noise was bearable with the windows closed. However, a slight gap in the window prevented complete closure, which could have been an issue if not for our exhaustion helping us sleep through any potential noise. The inclusion of a dining table in the room was a welcome feature, especially as we resorted to a quick dinner of instant noodles upon our arrival. This small convenience was appreciated during our two-night stay. Regrettably, the breakfast was a letdown, offering only a limited selection of sweet cakes, cookies, and nearly inedible fruit. It was, without a doubt, the poorest breakfast experience of our 9-day Christmas trip. A notable inconvenience was the bathroom light, which would automatically turn off after a certain period, leading to a startling and potentially hazardous situation during showers. Additionally, the lack of a hairdryer was another oversight in amenities.

The bed sheets and the comforter are badly soiled and also had mold. When complained the reception offered to change the room. But we inspected the new room and found it to be not much different. Since it was too late to go and find another room, we had to stay that night. It was practically a sleepless night. This hotel to be avoided.

My husband and I stay at Brisa Pacifica Hotel frequently when we travel to Leucadia. The staff is wonderful and helpful and the location can’t be beat for our surf lifestyle. It is within walking distance to some great restaurants and shops as well.

This was our second stay; we visit family in Carlsbad several times a year. The Leucadia area is funky and there are great spots to eat and drink. Not to mention the beaches! We have had rooms at the back of the hotel and they are surprisingly quiet. Bed is comfortable and room is good-sized. Breakfast is awfully simple (no tea) and towels are scratchy. But daily housekeeping was a pleasant bonus!

The bed was very comfortable. The property is in the process of being updated. It was clean and nice to get clean sheets and towels everyday. The breakfast needs improving - chocolate chip muffins or cookies.

This is an old fashioned street side motel/hotel right on the coastal hwy. Nothing fancy, but my room (a king size bed on the second floor) was recently renovated and spotless. And parking is easy. The first room I was given was small (queen bed) and on the first floor and looked directly into the parking lot, which would have required having the curtains pulled all the time and therefore no natural light at all. So be sure to specify you want a room either on the second floor or on the first floor facing west. The desk clerk (sorry I didn't get her name) was great about moving me, for a small upcharge (king bed vs queen). The pool is out front next to the road and quite small. There's room for someone to float but don't expect to actually swim. The staff was friendly and efficient without being intrusive. The location is good but not great if you want to walk to downtown restaurants and bars - but on the other hand I didn't see any hotel in Encinitas that was reasonably walkable to downtown. There's a great breakfast & lunch place just a couple of blocks to the north though (I can't recall the name but it's in the old train station building). The breakfast provided by the hotel is so so coffee and so so pastries. And a few good restaurants several blocks to the north, all right on the coastal hwy 101. All in all, and especially for the price, Brisa Pacifica is fine.

Quite good sleeping option, but not the quiest one. People are noisy around midnight, running through the hall, and railroad is on opposite side of the street. So if you need a quiet place - it is not a one.

It was ok but we had to ask for towels, and they were completely out of washcloths. The front desk told us they would not have any until the next day, after we had checked out. The room was ok, old facility with no elevator and very small parking lot. Front desk staff friendly.

I was in room furthest East Second Floor--Felt like someone was crawling through the mattress--May have been caused by the solar panels on the roof. Kind of noisy because of the trains and some loud females but actually got to make some train movies up close which was fun for me. Very busy Hwy-101 with lots of bikes and peds--BE ALERT!

Nice place for the price. Right on the strip of restaurants and quite a few places to eat. Check in is friendly and fast. I generally like to stay here. It's a great place.

We’ve been staying here for years-back to about 2010. They have been doing some renovations and doing some nice things. However, this time around it was weird. There was a hole in the bathroom door and what appears to be mold on the ceiling. This is a room we’ve stayed in twice this year and it smells musty. I told the front desk about the mold and the hole. He seemed skeptical but the maid, who was standing there, confirmed what I was saying. The new tile in the renovated shower looks really nice but it’s really slippery when wet.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Mostly updated. Everything worked well. Room felt warm on arrival so we opened window and turned on window fan. King bed away from road. Quiet. Parking good. Walked to restaurants. Did not use pool. Breakfast very minimal. Good price using third party app, so decent deal. Definately will be our goto place if reasonable price available.

The staff was so kind! Check-in was very smooth. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including a mini refrigerator. They are doing renovations and you can tell they are working hard to make this a great property. And I'm grateful that there is a place that works for people with tight budgets. I would definitely stay there again!
