Here were the issues. First the keys did not work multiple times. Second I thought breakfast was included but it was not. Third I got cold cereal and coffee and toast and it took 30 minutes to get it and the restaurant was not busy. Finally I could not get a complete print out of charges only incidentals.

Upon arrival to Double Tree Hilton we got our cards and cookies and went to park to the 2nd floor. Parking was tight and spots were filthy but it’s parking. Enjoyed our stay for the night till the next morning there was a leak coming from the building itself onto my truck and damaged the cabs paint. I tried to see if the residue could be washed off but it was thick and coated onto my truck. We addressed this with the Manager George and he just said it was water. We stayed only for one night, that damage does NOT come in a single night just being water. He only offered a 50$ off discount or to have the car wash next door try and “buff it out” to his words. The damage is so deep the car wash crew had to use a big buffer and polishing to get this out and took over an hour. The manager would not try and help us out and just wanted us to leave and very rude about it and shady. I will never stay at the Double Tree again even when I’ve been going here for the past 7 years. I am taking this to cooperate and they’ll take care of this.

Hotel has reputation of car break-ins so there are signs all over saying park at own risk. The inside is nice. The person checking in at same time received the famous warm cookies. I was not.

Overall a decent place to stay in Fullerton. The restaurant is understaffed and it will take a long time if there are many guests to dine in. The staff is very courteous and try to manage the expectations. The bathroom showers are pretty low and its difficult for a tall person to take bath right under the shower. Also the shower has a very cramped space. Place is neatly maintained with a well stocked bar and a decent covered parking.

The receptionist, who checked me in was awful, had no people in line, so there was no reason for her to not give me the proper directions to the room, or what the facility entitled, or even the complementary cookie Definitely like in the DoubleTree experience

The hotel is in an odd location. We arrived at 9:00 pm and for such an updated hotel, they made us walk out to our car alone at night in the dark for a parking pass. We were leaving at 5:00 am so I asked if really needed due to lack of safety in the area to walk out alone. They told me yes. When I mentioned that none of the other cars had them on their dash, they were unconcerned They did offer water but it was warm and there were no ice machines. Lastly to be fair the rooms although nicely de orated and updated were very worn and stained. Carpet, tile etc. I am a frequent traveler and pretty fair minded but will not stay here again.

The guy that check us in was cold and wasn't friendly at all. He didn't even offer a welcome cookie. And the other guy who check us out was very rude and unprofessional, he was on the phone when I get there and he was eating something because he was chewing. and when I ask him if they have a cookie because my daughter remember about it that they didn't gave us when we checked in. he grabbed the cookie but he didn't even say a single word when I say thank you. I know its just a cookie but thats not the point here, if you work in that kind of job you have to be professional and accommodating.

The stay was lovely until the boy from the front desk called about 5 times the first morning. The second morning, I was informed by a very rude girl named Aisha who proceeded to hang up on me. When I called the front desk explaining that Eva had granted my request for a late checkout at 12:30 pm, Aisha proceeded to place blame for her rudeness on the fact that Eva didn't do her job. Then shortly after I explained the late check out, I get a knock on my door from housekeeping. Shortly after that, I get a call from the front desk, then a hang up. Wow. When I called back a different rude girl answered and would not give me her name. She simply answered the phone with a "hello" and a bad attitude. I asked if this was the front desk, she simply answered with a "yeah". I am in the hospitality business and I know the occupancy has to to be extremely low. I was initially impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of Eva and Natalie the bartender. My family and I even discussed returning to the property in the near future. Unfortunately we will never return again. We were extremely disappointed and with so much competition in the very close vicinity we will choose to spend our money elsewhere. Do better Aisha, Shay, and young unprofessional boy who called and called. There is no excuse for bad attitudes and childish games, especially in this economy with that much competition around.

I stayed 4 nights. The housekeeping rules are not good. The hotel is still not providing daily room housekeeping. You have to call or fill out a slip for towels exchange. The problem is where to put the slip outside your room? On the floor? The front desk person during check-in was confusing and not helpful with their housekeeping rules. We ended up just calling them for towels exchange. Otherwise, the hotel is good, clean, and the room is large and comfortable.

Checking in was welcoming and easy, even for a late night arrival. We opted for the larger king suite with the sofa bed since we were traveling with our two teenage sons. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and everything in the room worked properly. Although we didn't use it, the hotel pool is small and looked like it could use some cleaning. Aside from that, the only real negative was waking up to see a parked car in the garage (next to ours) with its back window smashed out and some of the owner's belongings thrown outside the car. There are signs posted in the garage about not being responsible for loss of personal property. Believe them and don't leave anything in your car whether it's valuable or not. Unfortunately though, this has become standard issue for most places you visit these days.

The place is beautiful and clean. A lot of great amenities. However, there is always that one person that works there that has a horrible attitude ALL the time. I don’t know what her problem is, but she ruins this place. I’d rather just walk past the front and not deal with her at all, but unfortunately I have to check in. I love the cookies, but I will even forgo the cookies if it means I have to talk to her and ask for it.

Room was spacious. No parking fee required which was great . About 5 minutes from CSUF . Near a handful variety food places. Only down fall was that the room only had 2 towels and I had to go back down and ask for more but other than that it was nice .

Room was clean. Staff was great. I stayed a night on 04/28/23 and parked in their parking structure. I had some very expensive off-road lights stolen off my truck sometime during my stay. They had time and used tools to remove the lights from my truck. Be careful with your vehicles if you stay here. Their parking structures aren’t secure.
