I was asked before I left. What was my feedback of the property and I literally could not provide any negative feedback. I think the staff was extremely helpful. We traveled by Uber to Baru and the concierge was mindful to take a picture of the license, get the driver’s number and was attentive every step of the way. The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I did not care for my dinner, however, everything else was a plus. I would recommend going out for dinner.

If you are visiting Cartagena, you must stay at the Sofitel Santa Clara. The property itself is visually stunning, packed with fascinating history, and perfectly located. Our room was elegant, exceptionally clean, and featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the historic pool area. The breakfast buffet is hands down the best in Colombia, offering a massive spread of fresh tropical fruits, local pastries, and flawless service. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff—the butler and concierge teams went completely above and beyond to curate local itineraries and handle every request with grace. Highest recommendation!
Pedro in the reception area, Luis Carlos at the Restaurant went above and beyond and everybody at the hotel made our stay so perfect, we always like to comeback to Santa Clara every time we go to Cartagena!!
