Exactly what we needed: convenient to I10, late checkin, great breakfast, comfy beds, open-able window (small) for fresh air, very clean. Slightly dated and not luxurious but we didn't need new or luxury, so...Thank you!

We stayed upstairs in the main building. Our room had a high, slopping roof and stained glass accents set in a stone wall. So pretty! Breakfast was included. Very clean, seems well maintained. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Montreal.

It is a tired motel. While clean, it does smell of stale cigarettes. The mattress seemed very thin and was not comfortable.

The place was nice outside, the room was nice also but, it had a wall unit air-condition above the bed that was extremely loud. We were not able to listen to the TV. It was either turn the air off to watch TV and have no air in room or turn the air and not watch TV. Luckily we stayed there for a short period of time. There was also a small cockroach in the bathroom that sneaked out the morning we were checking out.

We were given a basement room with small window facing headlights of parked cars, when I mentioned that to the receptionist she strongly suggested, that is not basement room, she stated this is our normal room just few steps below the ground. Anyways we eventually managed to change the room, however when I asked for the baby crib she was very surprised and when she was convinced that providing the crib has been stated in hotel amenities, she assured we will have it in our room by tomorrow. We had no choice but to take turn to watch our baby the whole night hoping that we will get to sleep tomorrow, but the crib never came.

With the variety of reviews on here, I was honestly nervous to stay here. However, I was pleasantly surprised. We were accommodated with early check-in (there is a fee attached which sucks but it’s only $10 an hour) and our room was quite nice - flooring not carpet which was nice for showing cleanliness. Cleaning is done every 3 days which was okay with us, each room is given a door card that allows for requests - such a refreshment of towels etc or even a full clean. Unfortunately, we were only given one card for a 3 night stay. As someone stated, yes on really hot days there was a garbage smell BUT it’s only outside. The hotel can’t help where another business puts their bin. The actual hotel had no real odour besides the regular hotel smell? Someone in our party did use the gym facilities - modest, exactly what you’d need to workout and situated in a regular room converted to a workout space. We didn’t indulge in breakfast but it was half of what I expected - very few options nothing for individuals with dietary needs but if you’re a grab & go type of person, it’s great. The fancy coffee maker in the lobby was fabulous. My biggest complaint was accessibility - it wasn’t. Every room required mounting stairs. The lobby & breakfast area also required more than a single step. As someone with mobility issues, this was less than ideal. Luckily, we were on the “first” floor which was only a half set of stairs. Overall, would book here again.

The lodge was clean but a wee bit tiny. The ensuite bathroom was quite big. The breakfast area was small and cramped but people could take their breakfast outside. Everything in thw room was functioning well.

Beds were terrible. Staff was a bit uptight and not friendly. And the breakfast was not as good as expected, although it was hot, which was a plus.
