Enjoyed the not chain aspect of the hotel. Proximity to food options was good. Had nice character, bit of an Italian Villa feel. Breakfast options were plentiful.

We have stayed at Forest Villa several time because it is a throw back to “Old Prescott” before it became so touristy. We enjoy the friendly service, the breakfast and the lovely pool area. The lobby is warm and inviting attracting guests to read, play cards, or talk. Drawbacks noted is rooms are clean but dated. Would appreciate a comfortable reading chair in room. Traffic noisy but certainly not their fault. Generally nice relaxing stay.

Staff were lovely. Main entry area & breakfast very good. Rooms can use an update.

It was better than we expectated. The staff was very kind. The breakfast complete, coffee all day. The view. Everything was so enjoyable

This hotel is about 30 years old and while clean, it probably has not had a major refresh. Friendly staff, cookies being baked all afternoon, great breakfast included and very good coffee.
My only issue would be is road noise in the rooms that face the main road into Prescott. I wear earplugs when on the road, so I wasn’t bothered.
I like supporting the non-chain hotels when possible which ultimately was how I made my choice.
We also learned the correct way to pronounce Prescott….

I'm always afraid to say how great a hotel was because I'm pretty sure the prices will rise high for next time! The worst thing that happened was our door lock battery had to be replaced. The front desk staff was rather new but very friendly and they got our door fixed rather quickly, confirming with us they could go inside our room, while we sat by the indoor fire drinking tea (from cups they would clean, not throw a way). This is after we enjoyed the outdoor fire the front desk turned on for us after we asked. I'm very sensitive to cleaning chemicals and there was barely a smell on the bed sheets from laundry detergent to bother me, the rest of the hotel did not bother me at all, i was very pleased that i could enjoy the beautiful lobby. The ultimate test was the breakfast, a big reason for us choosing this hotel was someone's review where they said it was a "real breakfast" on fancy plates and they did not disappoint.

Love staying here great place and price.

always love staying here when we come to Prescott. It is close to the trails we like to hike, and close to places to eat and shop.

Needed to book this hotel last minute and went for a bargain, but it was so nice. So much nicer than the more expensive residence inn next door that didn't even bother to mention they were under construction and half closed while charging 50 percent more. The staff were all so helpful at this beautiful hotel, the lobby was unexpectedly grandiose and fun with a piano and games and a delicious breakfast. They made cookies in the evening and were ready to help round the clock. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Prescott.

My husband and I had to go to Prescott suddenly and we decided to go a day early and spend the night. I'm extremely happy with the hotel that I found and was not disappointed. Not only was checkin in very easy, but the property itself was very beautiful and rustic looking. It had that old time charm and was very calming. The bed was a little bit on the firmer side, but the pillows we EXTRAORDINARY! The rooms were gorgeous and I loved the small balcony attached. It did snow but it was still nice to step outside if we wished. I would definitely spend a night here again. The staff was amazing and loved that breakfast was included.

My husband and I enjoy staying here. The rooms are perfectly roomy. A comfortable stay. Breakfast options are thorough. Very good. My only complaint(which is rare for Forrest Villas) this time was the coffee pot was not cleaned. Old coffee sat in the carafe. I opted for coffee made and served in the lobby. Otherwise everything was just fine.

This is a beutiful place to stay. Very friendly and helpful people.

The biggest problem with this property is the vulgar cost for a pet in a hotel listed as Pet Friendly. $65 is almost as much as it cost a person.

This Hotel had the Bed N Breakfast vibe! Always a fire going in the lobby, couches, tables with games, etc. Very comfortable, and Clean! We will definitely go back when in Prescott!

The property is nice and maintained. The lobby was beautiful, spacious and clean. We however disappointed in our room. It was very dated. The fireplace shown in the pictures is fake. No heat nor gas fire. The jetted tub looked so old I was afraid to use it. The jets were yellowed plastic. The shower curtain liner was in need of bleaching as it has discolored edges.

The hotel was cute, but the breakfast was horrible. Not much of a selection and everything was low quality

Now, granted, we were staying in one of the nicest rooms in the place, with a jetted tub and gas fireplace, on a very uncrowded time of day where it felt like we had the place to ourselves. And, granted, it was one of the only times where we've had the entire length of our stay to enjoy things rather than coming in late and having to leave early. But aside from the practical matter of not having a pool or outdoor hot tub because of the cold weather, I probably could not have asked for a nicer stay in a hotel. Staff was friendly and gracious, the fireplace and foyer were nice for relaxing and enjoying a full hot breakfast or tea/coffee, and the bed as comfortable as can be. It was to my surprise that I was informed a full rehab to improve the place would be underway in another month or so--it surely didn't seem to need one!

This hotel is an older hotel, but very tell maintained. The lobby was lovely and was festively decorated for Christmas. The room was fairly spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice place to stay, close to where we wanted to go, staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

The whole facility needs to be renovated. Old carpet, dirty floors and old furniture.

I read other reviews, so I knew it wasn’t the trendiest hotel in town. It is quite dated, bathroom was really small. But we weren’t going to spend much time in the room. Eggs at breakfast were powdered and luke warm. Blech. They did have a decent selection of other offerings. Front desk people were nice.

We booked a room with a fireplace and the fireplace did not work. The maintenance team was in our room in minutes and attempted to fix it but was unable to. The front desk moved us to the largest luxury suite they have for no extra charge. The staff went way above and beyond to make our stay the best we had in a long time. They were more then friendly and accommodating. The food for breakfast was also top notch.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this charming Hotel! It looks and feels like a french Château. Make sure you stay in the Deluxe rooms with the indoor jacuzzi and fireplace.
Absolutely wonderful!

Wonderfully attentive, friendly staff are committed to guest service.
The decor is elegant, the music calming,
the breakfast fresh and hot, served on real plates with stainless utensils.
Quiet all night. Good beds. Highly recommend staying here.

Love this charming older property. Will go there again!!

Let me start by saying that this hotel has very deceiving name, it is not in the forest or anything close to it! I had a view of highway and Costco!! The only plus that this hotel has is the lobby. It is somewhat nice BUT it needs upgrades, the whole hotel desperately needs updating/ upgrading, otherwise it’s a motel room! Bob at front desk was a lukewarm at best. The hotel advertised a pool and hot tub, they are closed from Nov 1st, also BEWARE no dogs, on the webpage listed as dog friendly property. People who have given them 5 stars probably never seen anything better in their lives.

I wish we would have had more than one night to enjoy this property. The lobby is elegant and welcoming as soon as you enter. The staff we encountered both at check-in and check-out were knowledgeable, friendly, and took time to answer questions we had. There was infused water, coffee, and cookies available at all times in the lobby. We enjoyed coming back from dinner and sitting out under the gas heaters by the pool to enjoy the night. Each room has it's own, private balcony and ours had a beautiful view of the sunrise. Parking was plentiful and we enjoyed the covered parking garage with elevator access to rooms. Very well run, so welcoming, we will be back!

We got a room that needed big time attention. Bathroom not the cleanest... sink was very old. They upgraded us to a new room.. still in need of attention. girls up front very accommodating to get us a new room. We always stay here when in Prescott - we love the place. However it is TIME to upgrade, paint, new sinks , fixtures. etc. Just alittle concerned of the cleaniness now.. there was an open soap in shower . Breakfast
wonderful. We love the quietness of the lobby with quiet music. Very relaxing. Outside with firepit was great.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Lovely landscaped grounds. Lobby lounging area is large with fireplace and luxurious furnishings. Complimentary fresh baked cookies with coffee - hot chocolate bar. Complimentary hot breakfast has lots of options. Room was nicely decorated with a small quaint patio. Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Well located.

The property was nice, albeit a little tired/shabby. The staff were great! There were some cleanliness issues in the bathroom: the shower curtain was soiled and had pink mold at the bottom; there was visible black dirt/mold under the toilet rim. There was a noticeable odor on one of the bed pillows as well. Cleanliness is the most important factor to me so I notice these things.

The stay and the hotel were great, but I was charged more for booking with you, which I paid in advance of arriving, than the hotel desk tried to charge me at check in!
