Hotel was fairly clean and the room was nice for a single night.. only issues were that the toilet was leaking water and the shower curtain was ripped/didnt close the whole length of the shower rod.. informed the front desk of this issues as soon as they were noticed.. hotel was booked so they couldnt switch to a different room but that was fine.. just some minor maintenance issue.. bathroom was still useable. Service Desk was very nice and helpful upon check in and with any questions. Would stay here again for a quick trip if i needed to.

Strong smell of marijuana all around - the vending area, parking lot and elsewhere in the hotel. I have been to LaQuinta Hotels elsewhere and never felt this unsafe. Also, this particular hotel requires to take a photocopy of all guest ID's upon check-in. Wait, what? Collecting and storing P.I.I. information? Said it was a city ordinance. It is one thing to ask to see/verify ID and another thing to store a copy of it, even temporarily. A credit card on file should suffice. I will skip this hotel and perhaps the Oak Creek city itself next time. In contrast, the staff was friendly, the beds were clean and the bathroom was super clean. However those just aren't enough for me to come back or to recommend this hotel to families.

It was a big step up from the last budget hotel. Room was clean and pleasant. Happy for the coffee maker and coffee, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. Bed was comfy. The young lady who checked me in was very sweet, but the guy in morning at checkout was strictly business, which isn't all bad. Appreciated the included breakfast.

There was not hot water in the room. Only less than warm water. Breakfast was very skimpy. It was not 9 am yet and there was hardly nothing left for breakfast. And the eating area is in a tiny lobby that is next to the entrance. Today the weather was below zero and the doors kept opening letting the freezing air come in. I have never seen a hotel without double doors by the entrance.

They charged a $100 deposit without notifying. Threw us out our budget. Front desk was vey rude when ask to explain about this last minute charge. Our room wasn’t ready when we got there .Will never go out there again.

My American Airlines flight was cancelled after 3 delays and I was unable to make my connecting flight to MKE. As a result, I was unable to attend the funeral that was the purpose of my travel plans. So I was unable to checkin and rate my stay. This is because Expedia and/or La Quinta will not allow me to CNX my reservation in such a situation that is totally out of my control. I was able to CNX my rental car, another hotel night, and other reservations -but not this reservation made thru Expedia. Lesson learned: I will never again use Expedia for any travel reservation.

First of all we came to check in and I asked for coffee to perk me up, I was told there’s coffee in the pot on the burner…..no…. There were coffee grounds not coffee. There was no offer to make any, so I went without. This morning went for the delectable breakfast we see advertised, there was bread for toast, 4 sweet rolls, minimal coffee and no scrambled eggs, no make your own waffles , no nothing.! What? The room was clean, quiet, however there was only 1 miniscule bar of soap no body lotion and I came to use the hairdryer and it fell apart when I tried to use it, plugged in….how dangerous is that? I payed good money for the stay and had high expectations, since we usually always stay at Laquita when we travel. This particular unit is not functioning to its full potential and that is to “please the guest “, no actually WOW the guest . Very sad.

Went down to get breakfast and nothing was stocked, everything was empty no juice or fruit either. Asked an employee that walked by about restocking the breakfast area food items and she acted like I was making her do something she didn’t want to do. She went back grabbed some muffins and bagels and sat them out but didn’t say or ask us it we needed anything else. We didn’t get there last for breakfast either it was 8:25am and breakfast was done at 9am we sat there eating and others came by to eat but wasn’t much for anyone. Very poor motel would not stay there again.

Room smelled bad, like a dog peed on the carpet, they only cleaned the room the first 3 of the 6 days we stayed. When we asked, they said we had to request cleaning 24 hours ahead of time, they left only one bath towel, the breakfast was stale bagels, bread and pastries still cold from the freezer. The front desk did not answer 5 out of 6 times

The elevators didn’t work the keys that you received for your room. We’re always deactivated every day. You have to go down to see staff to get a new card to get it to your room.

AC was not working, extremely noisy, moved us to a room completely different than what we booked breakfast choices were terrible. Trash in the dining area was not cleaned to the degree that the trash was next to the food.

Broken elevator, tub was cracked in the middle and when I showered, I felt like I was going to fall through. You could hear it crack when you moved around. No cable or refrigerador in the room. Non smoking but multiple other guests were smoking in the rooms around us. There was an altercation between a woman and man in the next room over that kept us awake all night. I don’t recommend this place. We were from out of state. I’d suggest a hotel downtown Milwaukee.

Make sure you know where you are going, as the motel has NO SIGNS on the street. I checked in and was given a room on the second floor...then was told the elevator was broken. I was given a list of "rules" which included disclosure that smoking in the room would result in a $250 fine. After carrying two very heavy bags up the stairs, I entered the room and was greeted with the unmistakable odor of cigarette smoke! I figured I'd better let the receptionist know that the room smelled like smoke...but when I picked up the receiver on the phone located on the desk, there was no dial tone. I picked up the phone and saw that there was NO PHONE CORD. Ok, so made the trip back down stairs to the front desk with the phone in hand to tell them about the smoke smell and out of service phone. The lady at the front desk apologized for the problems and said, "There's nothing I can do...I just work here." I won't be staying at this motel ever again, that's for sure!!
